We have stayed with Lakeside Marina several times over the last year or so and every time weve been there the only bad thing is that we cant seem to make it last. Both Jim and Blake are always a pleasure to be around. They go out of their way to make sure that we have every thing that we need. Thank you for everything.

WE LOVED OUR COTTAGE. THE VIEW AND THE GREAT INDIVIDUALS WHO WORK SO HARD TO TO MAINTAIN THIS GREAT LOCATION! Our cottage was very clean, everything brand new, the beds were very clean, firm and high quality. The kitchen and appliances are top of the line, the living room furniture and dining room were confortable, sturdy,excellent style and comfort. Hardwood floors and a large plasma tv with sattlelite. The front porch is marvelous with plenty of white chairs to sit and enjoy the great view while having a cup of coffee. The gas stainless steel grills were great to cook our lunch and dinner. We loved getting on an electric boat that we always used and named (LOLA) and from there we began our day fishing all around this beautiful lake, catching Bream and Catfish. They have an island right across from the cottage and we traveled by boat to it and found many clean sandy beaches with clear water. We were able to rest in the shaded trees by the sand and get back on the boat and fish some more. On the other side of the island lives a family of GOATS, a mama, papa and baby. Mr. Jim always leaves a bucket of food for them and if someone goes to the island, they can feed them. So, we feed the goats! The place is great for kids too. They have tunka trucks, bikes, canoes, kayaks and plenty of places to run around or enjoy the beach area and swim in the lake. We saw many different birds. We took a boat ride as the sun was going down and the breeze and nature all around is spectacular. The air is so clean! Then there is Yeller, he is a gentle giant Lab that became our friend. He is part of the great Dunn family. Blake and Mr. Jim Dunn work from sunrise to late evening hours to make sure that everyone staying in their place is completly satisfied. When we left, we felt we were leaving family behind. Thank you both for allowing us to have such a great 25th anniversary in your beautiful part of Lake Marion.
