My wife and I rented the cottage for most of July. Our son and his girl friend visited on weekend. We had a grand time. The cottage is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning watching the water. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The place is very well equipped and spotless. We really did not need to bring anything which was a blessing in itself. We hope to stay here again next year as it was really wonderful and in an outstanding location. Easy access to Leland, Sutton's Bay and Northport. I highly recommend it to others...just don't take our time slot.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We visited Lake Leelanau to attend a wedding after the High Season in September so, because of our limited time, we did not have an opportunity to use all the amenities at the cottage. The cottage was especially neat and tidy and well cared for and everything worked. The rainfall shower head in the bath was great. The neighbors were quiet which added to the peaceful atmosphere and we rested well. Everyone we crossed paths with couldn't have been kinder. The location was most convenient with grocery shopping, restaurants, golf and more beautiful sites just a short drive away. Don't miss the walk up Whaleback Trail to see the sunset over Lake Michigan. Our morning walks around Lake Leelanau were also most refreshing with minimal traffic. Lake Leelanau is beautiful as is the countryside. If our travel plans return us to the area, we will look again to rent this sweet cottage. The friends we met in Michigan all thought we had found the perfect rental.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The weather and general area were perfect for sun bathing, swimming, biking, walking, and running. We only had good surprises with this property. Really clean, nicely furnished and decorated. I would definitely recommend to friends or relatives.

This is a great waterfront cottage. We are already planning our return visit. There is a nice beach right on the property with a really nice dock, which worked out perfect as we had friends boat over for a cook out and bonfire. The dock is great place to put a lawn chair and enjoy some down time and the stunning views of the lake. The cottage has that "Up North Feel" but with all the modern amenities. The village of Leland is very quaint. The owner was very easy to work with.

A wonderful cottage that offers beautiful views of North Lake Leelanau. This cottage offers all the amenities and more. All new construction that is meticulosly clean! "truly a cottage that is under rated and over delivers on the features and benefits". Very cozy and the perfect up north get away!
