This villa community is located on the Makai Golf Course and is a two-minute walk to the Makai Club House and tennis courts, a ten-minute walk to the ocean bluff, a five-minute drive to the St. Regis (formerly the Princeville Hotel)Hotel.
Both master suites (downstairs) feature king-sized beds, chest of drawers, single vanity bathrooms with marble counter tops, hairdryers, telephones, radio alarm, plenty of closet space. The master suite on the lower level also features a whirlpool bathtub.
The third bedroom has a queen-size bed.
The living area features a large 42" HDTV cable television, DVD player and DVD library, and an assortment of board games. Bring your own movies or rent from the nearby shopping center. Bring your laptop! Free high-speed wireless internet. There are ceiling fans throughout. The great room and stairway have just been upgraded to Brazilian teak hardwood floors along with Italian porcelein tile floors in the kitchen and entryway.
The fully stocked gourmet kitchen is available to prepare freshly made meals.
Just a few steps away is the pool and hot tub where you can lounge in the warm sun and enjoy a refreshing swim at your leisure. Or, play a round of golf at the 18-hole Makai Course or the 9-hole Woods course, both a short walk from your door, or at the 18-hole Prince Course a few minutes' drive away.

Why the Owner Chose Villas Of Kamalii
The main reason we wanted this particular condo was its' incredible mountain view that commands the whole southern wall of windows upstairs in the great room. We also loved all the architectural angles and high ceilings. The great room has a very expansive feel to it. This condo development is very centrally located to many things, such as the shopping center, beaches,Queen's Bath, St. Regis Hotel(formerly the Princeville Hotel), golf courses, jogging and hiking trails and tennis courts. The pool and hot tub is also located right across from our condo.

My husband and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. We both got sick of the traffic and crowds and decided to move to the mountains of Northern California to the alpine community of Mt. Shasta. Steve moved here in 1971 and I moved in 1980. We both love the mountains, four seasons and having snow in the winter, but we missed the closeness of the ocean that we had in the Bay Area. As my brother and his wife bought their retirement home in Princeville, we began dreaming about having a place by the ocean and began making trips to Kauai to see why they wanted to move there so much. It didn't take us long to find out what the attraction was and we decided it would be nice to be close to family the part of the year that we want to be over here. For us, Princeville and Mt. Shasta offer the perfect balance of weather, seasons, and all the beauty you could ever ask for. We feel we are extremely lucky to be able to experience this full spectrum and want to share our Kauai home with you so you can see how special a place Kauai really is!

We loved our time here. The location is breath taking, and the views from the condo itself are incredible! We loved walking every morning the 1/2 hour walk to Princeville shopping center for coffee from the Lei Petite bakery. And the short drive to Hanalei is perfect - you're close to everything without being in the middle of it. The condo is beautiful inside! The decor is beautiful, and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. Steve and Denese the owners were so helpful!! Their attention to detail, and the way they helped us out with questions via email was wonderful. We felt so looked after by them. If you book a vacation here, you will be so very glad you did!!! We will back if we ever the chance to come back to Hawaii!!!

We are renovating our condo in Princeville and stayed here to be close by. It is a wonderful condo with probably the best view in Villas of Kamalii. The upgrade from the teak flooring to the wonderful beds in all the bedrooms is a big plus. The furniture and artwork intrigued us that we are looking for similar items for our condo. The owners are more than gracious from the special flower arrangement to the wine at check in to impeccable details during reservations. Will recommend this condo any time.

This was a really nicely appointed condo with beautiful furnishings and decor. The 2 master suites are both large and comfortable with lots of closet space and a nice breeze from the lanai. We enjoyed cooking fresh fish from the local fish market on the balcony barbecue and eating in the beautiful kitchen. No ocean view, but you can't beat the gorgeous mountain view from the large living room windows. Hanalei beach was a short drive and very enoyable, plus several good snorkeling beaches nearby. Shopping and dining in nearby quaint Hanlei village. This was the nicest condo we have stayed in.

We (family of 6) stayed in this lovely home for a week. My husband and I traveled with my mother, our daughter (15), son (9) and our daughter's friend (16). We found the home beautifully decorated and with no detail left alone. We definitely felt at home here. From the warm welcome to the pillow top beds - like sleeping on a cloud! And we felt we had plenty of space for all of us. Waking to the views of the waterfalls every morning was icing on the cake. Steve and Denese are wonderful to deal with - Mahalo for your hospitality!

Our family of six stayed July 5-10th. We couldn't have asked for a better place!!It is gorgeous and well thought out. We had everything we needed for the beach and loved the layout and kitchen!!!The mountain views are awesome!! Are seven year old loved the bedroom with the beach board theme and the little garden were he made a few lizard friends. My brother and his family stayed at the St. Regis-they joined us at the condo to cook out and were extremly impressed and plan to stay at the condo when they return! Great price, location and the owners are great to work with-we forgot a suitcase and they kindly had it sent to us! Our only complaint is that we would of liked to stay longer just to spend more time enjoying the condo and it's lovely views! We are already anxious to return to Kuaui and Villas Of Kamalii #175502.

My stay here was delightful. It's not just a nice condo to stay in on vacation, it's a comfortable, well appointed home. The location is perfect and everything in the Princeville and Hanalei areas is within easy reach. The view of the mountains and waterfalls is spectacular. Cooking in the kitchen is so easy. My friends and I stayed at the Villas of Kamali'i #56 in April of 2009 and loved it. I have been to the islands many times and this is the best way to experience all Kauai has to offer. With access to a chef friendly kitchen one can enjoy the local farmers markets and fish markets without the worry of how much to tip your server and close access to the pool is great for a quick soak. #56 comfortably sleeps six with three separate bathrooms and the second floor has beautiful sweeping views of the mountains just above Hanalei. We counted over twenty waterfalls on one rainy Hawaiian afternoon, it was pretty amazing. This area is infamously laid back and charmingly quaint. The beach and the local grocery store are all within reasonable walking distance and Hanalei Bay is just down the road. Villas of Kamali’i #56 feels like someone’s home and the longer you stay the more you feel like that some one might just be you.I highly recomend this beautiful home.
