  We rented the 3 bed 2 bath top section of the house for two couples in late May 2009 and it was perfect. Everything as described and the owner was especially friendly and helpful. We came from Jupiter Florida with both couples taking their own boat and the marina services recommended were great as were the cart rental people and the property manager. We had been to GTC for a week once before and it was wonderful also but the Coral Sands House was the best because of its location, layout, amenities and helpful owner. We could have easily taken more people and still had the right mix of private and common space. We intend to repeat our visits to GTC and will specifically select the Coral Sands House. The house is centrally located, a short cart ride to anything on GTC. The beach is basically right out in the backyard and has both nice sandy areas and some areas with rock formations for snorkling.The view of the water is excellent from the large porch area and the kitchen and BBQ capabilities are also if you feel like eating in. Our interest was boating, fishing, island hopping and just relaxing with friends and this was the perfect place for all of that and more. We would certainly recommend GTC and the Coral Sands House.

  We immediately loved this house. My husband and I had been to Green Turtle several times, and this time we brought four other family members with us. Bita Bay is our favorite beach on the island, so we looked for a house at this location. This was our first stay at Coral Sands. Even though we knew the beach well, we were stil blown away when we first saw the view from the living room. You never tire of it. Our family members who came with us said they can't ever imagine vacationing anywhere else. My brother-in-law said it was the best vacation of his life. The sunrise each morning was special and refreshing. There is nice snorkeling on a reef within swimming distance from shore. We once saw two Eagle Rays swimming below us for 10 minutes - it was like a ballet. On a "crowded" day at the beach, you might see five or ten people, total. It is basically all yours. The house had everything we needed. We cooked four times. We rented just the top floor, and it had plenty of room for all six of us. The owner sent us all the directions we needed in comprehensive and prompt communications. The property manager, Julie, met us at the dock and helped with our bags and golf carts. We already miss Violet at Miss Emily's Blue Bee, and we had great meals everywhere we went. We rented a boat for a day, and of course, we spent a day with the original Brendal. Don't miss any experience on this island. This is everything a vacation is supposed to be. Authentic. Relaxing. Renewing.

  My family spent the week at Coral Sands and we all had an awesome time. The owner was very helpful in giving us pointers on restaurants, cart rentals and the house had a view you just have to see to believe, absolutely breathtaking. We had some of the best fresh grouper, I personally had it every night, and yummy lobster tails. Took Brendal's snorkeling excursion and thoroughly enjoyed the meal on the beach and the interaction with the stingrays. Also found that we all particularly liked the rum punch! The house was as described and all pictures are accurate and we hopefully wil be able to return in the future.

  Coral Sands Beach House on Green Turtle Cay was the perfect setting for our nine-member three-generations summer vacation. I felt as though I had just stepped inside an issue of Architectural Digest when I walked through the front door of this beautiful but comfortable and cozy home. The house plan offers lots of togetherness spaces as well as quiet areas for a nap or a quiet read. A constant sea breeze keeps the temperature perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and shelling from sun up to sun down. I especially appreciated the close proximity to the beach, which is just steps from the front door. Everyone was able to enjoy a snorkeling experience in line with his or her capabilities; the reef just past the water line was a perfect place for our five-year-old and our eight-year-old first-time snorkelers, and the big reef was great for the more experienced members of our group. The whole vacation went just the way John said it would: Marilyn’s meeting us at the ferry dock with our three golf carts and the refrigerator stocked for our Saturday evening arrival by Sid’s Grocery. This was the best family vacation we have ever had, and we are already coordinating our schedules so that we can come back next year. John, thanks again for sharing your lovely beach house with us.

  We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at Coral Sands Beach House with our two children ages: 9, 14 the first week of August, 2011. This was our first trip bringing our own boat across from Florida for the opening of the Bahamian Lobster season. Wow…what a great experience. The owners were very helpful in assisting us with the planning of the trip and offering suggestions for golf cart rental, dockage for our boat, etc. The house truly exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was beautiful and the view of the gin clear water was absolutely stunning. The only bad part of the trip…was leaving this beautiful house and island. We will most certainly be returning to Coral Sands. Thanks again for a great vacation.

  A group of 6 of us rented the whole house for 10 days at the end of May 2011 and we had a fantastic time. All that is said in previous reviews is true. The desription & pictures on the website are accurate if not understated. We rented a golf cart from Seaside, and it was waiting for us at the dock where we were greeted by the property manager. We rented a boat for a week from Reef Rentals and all was excellent. As we were arriving late on a Sunday, Sid’s grocery store kindly stocked the house with some items both from their store and the liquor store, and ran a tab for us! The people of GTC were genuinely kind & pleased that we had chosen their island to vacation and couldn’t have been nicer. Weather was good with the wind just strong enough to keep the bugs away. Due to well thought out design on the house, we were able to leave all the doors inside the screened in porches, including our bedroom doors, open all week so we could hear the waves and the wind day & night. The boat allowed us to do a lot of island hopping, snorkeling and check out various ocean side bars & grills. We had breakfast & dinners at the house, using the grill most nights, and just relaxing looking at the bay out front. We enjoyed not only the beach view but also the snorkeling in front of the house. Highly recommended! Of note, 2 days before the trip, I learned that a certain airline company (contact the owner to know whom) had cancelled our flights. While I had the phone numbers of a number of other choices, the owner was instrumental in providing me some specific names of people to contact. Many thanks to him and Bahamas Express who provided a plane for all 6 of us at the exact same times (and within $100) of our original flights. On our return flight, we flew over the house and were able to get a few last looks and pictures at our island paradise.

  We spent a delightful week in a house that was everything that was promised and more. We were met by the property manager, information re: buying food/dining/getting around was clear and helpful and we would recommend both the house and Island to anyone looking for a quiet, out-island vacation where you can go out to a nice dinner, go dancing or walk on an empty beach. Everyone we met was gracious and welcoming, glad to talk and we will go back.

  Had an amazing time and the place was better than expected. The pictures/descriptions did not do it justice. The owner was extremely helpful and everyone we met on the island was so friendly and genuine. We travelled with our 2yr old daughter and another couple with a daughter the same age. The girls were so happy playing on the beach and the set up of the house was perfect where they loved playing on the screened-in porch. A very unique experience that exceeded our expectations. We're already planning our next trip to GTC!

  We just returned from spending a week at this magnificent property (late September) with two other couples and have nothing but good things to say about the property itself, the people we met, the activities available, and how easy it all came together. How about this - conch on the northside, bonefish on the southside, reefish on the eastside, and lobster in the backyard!In the words of Arnold 'the governator'Schwartzenegar, " I'll be back" - A real winner - Mark & Sandy V

  Vacationed from 5-30-2009 to 6-13-2009 Three couples, Had a fabulous time, Coral Sands Beach House,fantastic beach,crystal clear ocean,the photos do not do the beautiful home justice. Swimming, snokeling,walking on the beach was better than we had imagined it would be. We met and made friends with the locals,Edison and Carol, Reef Rentals,Seaside Carts, (Carol), and Sid's Grocery,made us feel welcomed and a part of the Cay. Rented a boat, went fishing, snokeling,Cay exploying by boat which was fantastic. Green Turtle cay and especially Coral Sands Beach House,relaxing on the deck with the most amazing ocean view was unbeliveable best vacation ever for us. We want to make it an annual vacation for us. We felt safe on the Cay and the locals were always friendly and helpful. Emily and Al Mingione, Tampa, Fl
