The Iron Duckling was the perfect place to "get away from it all"! We brought up food and were able to cook some delicious meals at the cabin because the kitchen is so well-stocked with appliances and cooking tools. We loved how the bedrooms open up to the deck overlooking the lake. It was fabulous to wake up and just enjoy the gorgeous mountain views. Even the hot tub overlooks the water; is there anything more relaxing than enjoying the beauty of the outdoors while lounging in a hot tub?! We had an all-around fabulous experience and highly recommend the Iron Duckling for your next vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I had our honeymoon here and had the best time. We are the type to want to be away from people for the most part on our honeymoon so it was perfect! There is a very nice drive from the house to the great town of Andrews. My wife thought she was in a Lord of the Rings movie. The owner was a pleasure to work with and it's not a bad price with everything included and such a beautiful lake to have access to. We are looking forward to going back someday soon Lord-willing!! If you want a beautiful, peaceful place that's close but not too close to this gorgeous lake, this is it! Go Heels!!!
