This wonderful cottage (W-66) is located at Hawks Nest Beach, a family resort in Old Lyme Connecticut. The modern kitchen, dining, down stairs bath and flooring were all upgraded 3 years ago.
The large waterfront porch is a great place for morning coffee and meals at the picnic table with the waves rolling in. You can see incredible sun rises and sunsets reflecting off the water from your cottage.
Wetlands across the street from the cottage are home to Osprey Eagles, that you will see swooping in the water catching fish. The rock jetties in front are fun for crabbing and seeing the marine life. Activities for kids include swimming, kayaking, tennis, & boating. On site weekly scheduled events such as sand castle contests, scavenger hunts, talent show, art projects and movies on the beach are a tradition with the Hawks Nest Beach events staff. A little general store just a short walk down the road has fresh coffee, homemade donuts, last minute groceries and gifts. The cottage is available May to October, with weekly rentals only in the peak summer season. Some off season shorter stays may be arranged, based on availability.
