The Cobb Hill House was perfect for our late fall 2010 trip. Short drive to Dtown Bozeman and Big Sky. Our 2 year old loved the playhouse and the grounds were perfect for him to play and explore. Well equipped with everything we need for a family of three plus one grandmother who like to cook, kick back, and be close to various activities. Great Style and Space for us. The River's Edge is the fly fishing shop not to miss for anglers. Zach is the guide to ask for. Mara, is a very gracious host and made the reservations easy. I would recommend Cobb Hill to friends and family.

This guest cabin has been recently renovated, is very clean, and is decorated and furnished very nicely. The two small private bedrooms are nice, and still allow folks to sit at the kitchen table or watch TV while others sleep. The complimentary jar of homemade chocolate chip cookies are second-to-none! Kitchen is well stocked and can accommodate all meals you may with to cook there. We had two couples there and everybody enjoyed themselves very much. Definitely made for a more relaxed, social environment than a hotel. Highly recommended. Owner is very professional and communicates well.

We had a wonderful time last year and we returned this year! It is a beautiful place and our host was most accommodating. The location is centrally located for Yellowstone, Virginia City, and many other destinations. Grilling and relaxing on the deck, walking down the road with beautiful mountains in view, and in general being able to restore and relax made this a must-return for us. I have recommended this property to others.

This was the perfect spot for us with our 3 year old daughter who couldn't wait each day to get back to play in the "play house". With space to play outside and even in the house it made for the perfect place to stay if you have children. The location was quiet and beautiful and if you just want to take a walk down the road you can enjoy wonderful views. We can't say enough about how thoughtful and caring the owner/manager was and we felt this was such a bonus to be able to stay in such a caring atmosphere. We highly recommend this home and hope to be able to return.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Cobb Hill Guest Cabin. There was an unanticipated one foot of snow one night while we were there. The next morning Mara-Gai and her husband were out in the 1º weather, unannounced, shoveling snow in case we wanted to get our car out. That's guest service! The cabin was very comfortable in the November weather, and the bed was perhaps the most agreeable we have ever occupied. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visit Bozeman several times a year and are very familiar with the area. Our first stay at the Cobb Hill guest house was great. Located just out of town, it provided us with a country setting yet was close enough to get downtown in minutes. Clean and well-appointed it had everything we needed. From the appliances to the artwork everything was first class. We'll be back.

This is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Every room is spacious, gracefully furnished, fully equipped, and bounded by windows that look out on mountains. Yellowstone Park is an hour to the south, Bozeman ten minutes to the east, and a sprawling hot-springs complex five minutes down the road. Despite those surrounding attractions, we spent half our time on the cabin’s expansive deck and walking the county roads that surround the location. But perhaps the most attractive feature of the cabin was the attentiveness of the management and the degree to which they did everything necessary to make our stay a pleasure. We could not recommend this vacation spot more highly; and if we could give six stars out of five, we would.

Look no further! This is the place you want to stay for your trip to Bozeman. Less than 10 minutes to downtown and the MSU campus, but surrounded by amazing MT country. The views from the cabin were beautiful. If I can see mountains from the couch, it's a good place to be! The cabin was immaculate ... beautiful furnishings, full washer/dryer in its own 'laundry room', amazing Lutron lighting (all on dimmer switches) throughout allowing for bright or 'romantic' atmospheres. The beds were so comfy with pillow-top mattresses and down comforters. The property was perfect for our children (ages 2 and 7). They could play in the 'kid cabin' next door to ours or bring toys out in the big, well-maintained yard. They loved it! Our deck was the place to be to watch the sunset with a cup of coffee. Mara-Gai even left homemade chocolate chip cookies for us when we arrived. What more could a person ask for? Shey also helped us when we had a medical emergency and needed to find a doctor. So helpful and so unintrusive during our stay. Thanks Mara-Gai! We WILL return! :) Jenae, Brian, Addison and Weston
