Our Mission: Plain and simple we wish to offer you and your family, an opportunity to have a great vacation, at a price you can afford. We’re all in the same boat in that we are feeling the pinch of our current economy, but life goes on. We still work hard, maybe harder than before and we still need to catch our breath and have a time away to be replenished, and to slow down and remember that the most important things in our lives are our relationships with our families and friends. So our goal is to do our best to enable you to have a time away in the mountains and regroup at a price you can afford. You will find our rates reasonable year round, starting @ $99.00 per night.
Amazing Grace Shagbark: Inside this authentic log cabin you will find a warm, inviting and well kept home, filled with lovely country decor to delight you and your family. Amazing Grace comes with a full sized and well equipped kitchen, a full size washer and dryer, 5 person hot tub on a private covered deck, as well as seasonal use of the pool, tennis courts and basketball court.
Shagbark, a private gated community made up of nearly 1,300 acres of mountainous woodlands and about 250 homes, scattered throughout.
Shagbark is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains; seven (7) miles from action-packed Pigeon Forge, and twelve (12) miles from Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

If the Go-Karts didn't get your adrenaline pumping enough, strap in and step up to the edge of the 65-foot high platform, and take a plunge…a BUNGEE JUMPING plunge! (Near the corner of Wears Valley Rd. and 441)
*If Bungee Jumping isn't your speed, you need look no further than Dollywood: Enjoy Dollywood amusement park rides including the award-winning wooden roller coaster The Thunderhead™-the wildest ride in the woods. The family vacation fun at Dollywood features kiddie rides and 10 new family attractions in their expanded Country Fair area. Dollywood's live entertainment has the best in country, bluegrass, mountain and gospel music with more than a dozen stage shows. Master craftsmen demonstrate centuries-old crafts including blacksmithing, glass blowing and wood carving.
If you want to slow down even more, Shagbark itself has miles of scenic walking areas, babbling mountain streams and fantastic mountain views in all directions.
Some of our favorite pastimes include rocking on the front porch while listing to all the different birds sing…. Relaxing with a good book on the swinging sofa…. Enjoying a home cooked meal at the dining table…. Soaking in the hot tub each morning with our morning coffee….
We bring our (furry-kids on vacation) and you are welcome to do the same if you choose, as Amazing Grace is a pet friendly cabin. |
