Amazing Grace Shagbark: Inside this authentic log cabin you will find a warm, inviting and well kept home, filled with lovely country décor, we trust that you and your family will feel right at home. Amazing Grace comes with a family sized, and well equipped kitchen- a full size washer and dryer - 5 person hot tub on a private covered deck, as well as seasonal use of the pool:(June-Sept 5th) tennis courts and basketball court.
Shagbark itself is a private gated community made up of nearly 1,300 acres of mountainous woodlands and about 250 homes, scattered throughout. Shagbark is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains; seven (7) miles to the west, from action-packed Pigeon Forge, and twelve (12) miles north from Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

“My husband, two sons (ages 3 and 7), and I just returned from Amazing Grace and had a wonderful time. The boys loved playing in the hot tub every night while my husband and I loved soaking our worn out bodies. The cabin is decorated in a lovely way and is so cozy. It is close enough to town but I still felt as if we were 100 miles away from everything. We will definitely be back to Amazing Grace!

Some of our favorite pastimes include: rocking on the front porch while listening to each different bird sing their own song. Relaxing with a good book, out on the swinging sofa located on the front porch. Enjoying a home cooked meal together. Soaking in the hot tub with our morning coffee, watching the sun come up over the mountain. Ahhhh...

Our best views are in the fall, winter and spring months, but a gorgeous view is available throughout the year.

- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: You must be 25 years of age to rent a cabin. A copy of your drivers license will be needed at the time of booking along with your deposit, or full payment.

July 19-23 2008 Taken from the cabin guest book: "Hello! Well it's Wed. July 23rd and this is our last day here and we are Not Ready to leave tomorrow. Your cabin is so Awesome and we have loved every minute here. It is so beautiful, clean and very peaceful. The electricity went out a few times, twice from the storms and once not sure why BUT the electric company was here and on it very fast! We were only out for no more than 2 hours, which was kinda Romantic to us anyway, especially since we got engaged on the way here. : ) Thank you so much and we will definitely recommend your place.
