The Landmark Resort is located on a 40 acre wooded bluff overlooking the bay of Green Bay and the 36 hole Alpine Golf Course. The Landmark Resort is within walking distance of the quaint village of Egg Harbor.
This fully furnished 2 bedroom condo unit has queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeping 6 comfortably. The kitchenette is equipped with all of the conveniences of home, including a dishwasher. All linens and cleaning are provided at no extra charge.
THE LANDMARK RESORT IS A DESTINATION IN ITSELF, offering many amenities including sports activities, 3 outdoor pools, indoor pool and exercise room. Each building has a hot tub/sauna. There is an on-site family restaurant for casual or fine dining at a reasonable rate.

This was a perfect place for 2 adults to stay and enjoy the beauty of Door County. This was a unit at the end of the hall, by the stairs and was very quiet. We had a very cute balcony, partially obstructed by the tree branches which allowed us some privacy while we had our breakfasts in the morning and late night wine. It was great to be able to visit the local grocery store and farm markets to get fresh fish, produce, and bakery and enjoy it back on the balcony. The pools were nice, both indoor and outdoor. The only thing that ever decreases the enjoyment of a place is the people that stay there, one person felt it was OK to urinate in the drain by the indoor whirlpool, while others played full field football in the indoor pool, knocking people over and basically not caring that others might be trying to enjoy the pool also. I would recommend this unit, it was comfortable, had all the amenities you might need, and a good bargain for what we got.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

Our family of 5 stayed in a "2 bedroom unit" earlier this month. The recreational amenities at the Landmark Resort (outdoor and indoor pools, fitness center, large common areas with gorgeous views of the bay) were very good. We were pleased with the reduced rate provided by the owner, yet a tad disappointed with what we actually received for our money. The description of this property states cleaning and linens will be provided. However, the front desk informed us this unit would not be cleaned at all during our stay (i.e. the garbage was not removed, beds were not made and no fresh or additional towels/toiletries were provided) because it is not managed by the Landmark Resort. It is not a big deal, just perhaps a little misleading. The description of the unit also notes a lake or golf course view, though our view was actually a "wooded" view of the parking lot. The resort was not very busy when we were there and a note in the unit indicated the owner may own several units. We hoped (and expected) to have a unit with a better view. The unit may technically sleep 6 with the sofa-bed, but our son chose to sleep on the couch itself, rather than have the very thin mattress and uncomfortable bar in his back all night. This may be considered "par for the course" with sleeper sofas, but also helpful to know in advance. I would say this unit sleeps a maximum of 4, maybe 5. The unit description should be a one bedroom with a loft, as there really isn't a "2nd bedroom" and the loft lacks any sort of privacy. This type of unit would not be my first choice if I had small children. The stairs up to the loft bedroom are quite steep and someone could potentially go over the railing and fall to the living room if they were not careful. The appliances are older, but they functioned as needed. Egg Harbor is a nice, quiet area of Door County and the Landmark Resort is a pleasant place to stay. The owners provided us with very helpful brochures and information specific to the things our family may want to see and do in the area. Be sure to try Joe Jo's Pizza as well as Wilson's Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor in Ephraim, try all the samples at Wood Orchard Market in Egg Harbor, see the goats on the roof of Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay, bike/hike the trails in Peninsula State Park, and play in the (cool) water of Lake Michigan and hike to the top of Old Baldy in Whitefish Dunes State Park!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
