LOCATION: Beautiful coach home has new luxurious furnishings for the utmost in comfort! Your vacation home is located within the exclusive Pelican Sound Golf and River Club in Estero, Florida (right in between Ft. Myers and Naples). This rarely available "end-of-row" unit is on the second (top) floor. It has a one-car garage and a private entry into the home. Edgewater is a very desirable location in Pelican Sound due to its beautiful views. The view from your lanai is one of lake,preserve and the 3rd hole of the "Lakes" course-VERY PRIVATE (there are three 9-hole courses in P.S.). Windows abound in this corner unit with palm trees swaying as they frame the tropical beauty from every view. One of the many community pools is across the street with a hot tub and gas grills.
INSIDE: The living room is furnished with your utmost comfort in mind. The soft leather couch and loveseat has four recliners to sit back and enjoy the tropical landscape, watch your favorite show on the large TV, or enjoy a movie or music from the home theatre system with surround-sound, or take advantage of the high-speed interntet access with your computer. The master bedroom is your private oasis with sophisticated Tommy Bahama-style furnishings to bring the tropics inside. The bedroom, with king pillow-top bed and large TV connects to a luxurious master bath. Two closets (one walk-in) keep everything organized. The second bedroom, in its own private wing, has twin pillow-top beds and sparkles with its red, white, and blue theme. The adjacent hall bath continues the colorful theme. The den provides a relaxing room with brightly-colored pineapples adorning a sleeper sofa (very comfortable),a reading corner and large windows looking out over the neighborhood and the tee of the third hole of the "Lakes" course. Remember, nobody's next door! Your vacation kitchen has upgraded appliances, lovely ceramic tile floors, and a solid surface countertop. It is very well equipped to cook up a storm (or not!). In the dining area, sit at the fossil stone table (seats six)and enjoy the view out of the surrounding windows or step out onto the comfortable lanai with table and chairs. The lanai is accessed from the dining, living, and master bedrooms. Make sure to open the sliding doors to let the breeze flow through! Ceiling fans are throughout for your total comfort.
ABOUT PELICAN SOUND GOLF AND TENNIS: Pelican Sound is a gated community with a 27 hole championship golf course with aqua range, putting course and six Har-tru tennis courts. Pro shops for both offer a wide array of activities, classes, and tournaments. The 18,000 square foot Mediterranean-style clubhouse with formal and informal dining is at the center, providing locker rooms and a beautiful gathering place for the many activities provided-too numerous to mention! Upon rental, a $300. fee transfers all membership priviledges for the Clubhouse, the Riverclub, and all golf, tennis, and pool priviledges. The "Chelsea" automated system for reserving tee times insures fair play for everyone.In addition, there are many reciprocal golf clubs in the area to enjoy!
THE RIVER CLUB AND BEACHES: Overlooking the Estero River,the 5,000 square foot River Club has a huge pool, fitness center, and casual dining indoors or out. Also at the River club is a canoe park and a PRIVATE WATER TAXI THAT TAKES YOU TO ONE OF THE AREA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, LOVER'S KEY STATE PARK! If you wish, take a short drive to nearby Bonita Beach where you can parasail, rent waverunners and waterbikes, take in a volleyball game, and watch spectacular sunsets. Doc's Beach House is right there to fill your needs for food and refreshment.
WHAT'S NEARBY: We are located between Fort Myers and Naples which are both short drives away (10-15 min each way). The Southwest Florida International Airport is a 20 minute drive and there are GREAT restaurants and stores all around. If you're into sightseeing and nature, we are across the street from Koreshan State Park, one of Florida's top-quality state parks with picnic areas and historic sights. For the shoppers, Miromar Outlet Center, home to many of the best outlet stores, is a 5-10 minute drive east to I-75. Also, Coconut Point is just 5 minutes drive south and is truly a sensational shopping experience! TECO Arena, home to sports events and concerts is just a few exits north on I-75. Ft. Myers is home to a Minor-League baseball team;one of the most popular activities around. It's also the spring-training sight for many other teams.
