Baker's Beach Cottage is a charming updated seaside hideaway filled with furnishings and collectibles gathered over many years of memories. All are fun items and the cottage remains very family friendly! The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including a dishwasher and laundry area. There are 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and the second with a shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed and small wall mounted TV, the second bedroom contains two twin extra long beds that can be put together to create a King and the third bedroom has a single. We can comfortably accommodate 6 guests with the double hide-a-bed in the living room for that unexpected relative who "hears you are in town and drops in". With your comfort in mind, we provide all the linen, duck down duvets or polyfill comforters, clock radios, and reading lamps. Enjoy the Bright Sunny Living area featuring a River Rock Gas Fireplace, cozy sofa and love seat, writing desk and comfortable chairs. A Wall Mounted 40 inch full cable TV allows you to access movies, new and old, children's programs, as well as all those sports that make an occasional rainy Sunday so bearable! The bookshelves are full of reading material for young and old, plus a DVD player & DVDs, toys, games and a radio. French doors in the living room lead out to a very private covered patio with gas BBQ, as well as a large fenced front grass yard with swing set. The no-thru street provides a safe fun area, and since you can see the beach from the yard, you can check the tides before heading out. It is a three minute walk! At low tide, you can walk along the beach to the children's water park, splashing through tidal pools of sea stars and other sea creatures, while eagles and gulls soar overhead. This spectacular central beach park has over 150 different events during the year including the world famous sandcastle competition. Sink into the comfortable sofas and chairs and enjoy our treasures reflecting oceans, lakes and rivers of years past. Oh my, what a lovely stay we had! The house was set up perfectly for our whole crew. The toys and games were a big hit with the littles!! Hopefully we'll be back

We have stayed here for five weeks, we like the house very much it is well equipped for long stays and we found it very comfortable. Being seniors, we like to walk for exercise and because it is close to downtown and MacDonald's it is very handy. We have been spending part of our winters in Parksville for the past ten years and in all the properties we have stayed this has been on of the nicest. The owners are very friendly and most accommodating. We hope to come back again.
