Why the Owner Chose High Falls
I come from Colorado and grew up with scenic beauty that's hard to surpass. But this area of upstate New York is so lovely and welcoming. We love this property because it is personal, private and peaceful. And yet we are close to all the amenities: farm stands, library, post office, a rec center with pool. Plus art and performance are readily available.
The people are friendly – It's an involved community that has a long history of conserving the land and protecting the environment. It also nurtures artists providing venues and events for their work.
And the surrounding are just spectacular with every season.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
We like living simple and spare and so keep the place uncluttered and clean. It adds to the peace of the place. Just walking in the door is relaxing. And the view really takes you out of yourself. You can read or get drawn into the landscape - so many birds!
