You are looking at a brand new log home. Authentic log home, that is! We just started to rent this baby. The "cabin" is 1800 square feet, so you don't have to worry about falling all over each other if you are coming with several people. The kitchen is brand new with beautiful granite countertops, fully equipped with everything you will need to cook or prepare meals. The bathrooms are gorgeous! Top of the line amenities, with marble counters. There are two and a half bathrooms. The three bedrooms are very large, with lots of room to spread out. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Wireless Internet connection.
The view is of mountains. Watching the morning mist roll up the mountains is gorgeous! In any season, the view is beautiful. We have a large back deck with BBQ grill to enjoy the views. On the community property is Mill Creek Park. A key will be provided for you to use this private park. It's a great place for kids to look for gold, gem stones, swing, look for treasures in Mill Creek, and have lots of fun. The Pisgah National Forest is next to our property, and there are many beautiful picnic areas there too.
Ashville is about 15-20 minutes away. You'll find everything you want there. Horseback riding, white water rafting, golf, restaurants, shopping. Four miles from our log home is the city of Black Mountain... a lovely and charming arts and crafts town the ladies will really love. Unique shopping, and great eateries. Check out the best restaurant in town: Madison's... you'll love it.
I put so much time into making this a lovely get away when we were building it. You will feel totally isolated while at the cabin, but everything you need is only minutes away. Great house. Location is within 30 minutes of great hiking from Linville to Asheville. House is perfect for 4-6 adults. May be tight with more than that for showering. Plenty of sleeping space. Very clean and up-to-date. Great view of mountain ridge. Very comfortable and cozy. Would recommend to friends and hope to return.

Beautiful property that was extremely clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Easy trip in to Biltmore and Asheville.

I have just stayed for a week and the beautiful and comfortable home offered here. The views were spectactular, it was very secluded, and the home had everything we could possibly need to make our stay an extremely pleasant one. The hiking trails within less than 5 miles of the home were picturesque and of moderate difficulty, so we were able to get great workouts while we were there. We really liked the beds in the house; the kind size in the master bedroom was way better than my bed at home, and has me wishing I were back there when I can't fall asleep! I should also mention this home is a very new construction, and you can tell. Everything is so well maintained and beautiful. We are already planning next year's vacation. I would recommend this rental to any one of my friends or family.
