You never really know how a place will look until you get there. What the neighbours will be like and how safe the area will be. We liked this place the moment we walked in and looked around. It a lovely outdoor area which was screened in and an fenced outdoor area. We had our dogs with us so it meant they didn't have to be tied up outside when we were out there. The pool area was lovely however the water was too cold for us to swim in. Being that it was about a mile from lovely beaches we didn't care about the pool. It was very close to groceries and shopping. The neighbourhood was safe to walk around in and I did a lot of walking! The only thing I didn't like was that there was no washing machine or dryer. Going to the laundromat was inconvenient. They had a clothes rack so you could hang your stuff out to dry if you wanted. There was a bottle of really nice white wine in the fridge when we arrived which was welcom since we had a long drive from Canada to get there and appreciated just sitting out the backyard, looking out into the lagoon at the birds and turtles and sipping a nice cold glass of wine. We would stay again. We recommend Loving Hut restaurant in Naples. We are vegens and the selection of food and taste was excellent for any diet. Good prices and friendly service. Go to Delnor State park which is just a mile away. For $6 you can park all day. We went back and forth from the house to the park throughout the day. No dogs allowed on the beach but they are allowed in the park. It is a fantastic beach with no houses or hotels so you will see lots of pelicans and other birds and we saw dolphins every day just off the shore.Owner response: Dear Diana, Thank you for the wonderful review. I am really sorry that you did not notice the washer and dryer in the house (probably because it was in a separate room outside the kitchen). They are kept in the little room to the right as you exit the kitchen door to the pool area. In fact, both the washer and dryer are new, bought last year and I have kept laundry detergent also for your use. The key to that door was kept on top of the information book. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you back. Next time you can plan a longer stay since you know that there is a washer and dryer! Sue

This property provided everything we needed for an enjoyable Naples based vacation. The excellent beach at Delnor-Wiggins State Park is just a few minutes away. Also nearby are a variety of restaurants and cafes. Sue is easy to contact and very helpful if queries arise. My husband & I have rented this Lakefront home for 5 weeks in 2011 & 2012. It is very spacious & comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and cooking & dining in the expansive Lanai. Sue and her husband were very responsive to any questions or requests that we had. The location is perfect with lots of shopping, restaurants and the beach nearby.Did you find this review helpful? Even if the house is not high end and new, we feel" at home". There is everything we need inside, such as outside (restaurant, shops, beaches) and at a walking distance. The pool and the large covered and screened patio with the bbq are very convenient for relaxing or dining . The rental contact was very pleasant. We stayed there one week in april, and missed the house and its lake view as soon as we leftRecommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

My husband and I rented this two bedroom, two bath home in Naples Park for two weeks in February 2008. We found that the property description and photos were accurate, and the property was as advertized. The outdoor amenity areas are terrific. The pool area is sunny, but there is another large screeded patio area at the rear with a gas grill and tables and chairs for eight. The home's furnishings are not high end, but the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including satelite TV. The kitchen has new, full sized appliances, and an eating area that accommodates six. The best feature of this home for us was the location. We like to walk or cycle to restaurants or to the beach. There is a variety of golf, shopping and dining in the immediate area. It is a short drive into the centre of Naples, or to Ft. Meyers. This would be a comfortable, affordable place for a family with children (the pool is seperately fenced from the rest of the patio).Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, sightseeing.
