Northeast Harbor cottage description
Kimball Bungalow is a 75 year old cottage within the town of Northeast Harbor. It has a large Master Bedroom with a fireplace and a living room with fireplace. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well equipped. The house is spacious and ideal for a family or two small families. There are games and books and a large porch facing south overlooking the private garden.
With quiet streets and coastal views, walking or biking is the best way to get around town. Shuttles to Acadia National Park and ferries to nearby islands leave frequently from locations within walking distance. The harbor is just down the hill from the house and there is a convenient boat ramp next to the main dock.
Hiking and biking are famous in this area because of the extensive 'Carriage Trails' that run through Acadia Park. A favorite hike takes you to the Jordon Pond House where you can have 'Tea and Popovers' before the hike down.

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: My husband and I bought this house when we sold our condo in Sugarloaf. We both come from families that have returned to Northeast Harbor over 3 or 4 generations. It is home to us and a place we have loved sharing with our children as they have visited their grandparents. Now grandparents, we hope for the same long relationship with a beautiful place.
Why the Owner Chose Northeast Harbor:
This property is very private and yet located in the heart of Northeast Harbor. It's an easy walk to buy milk, watch the boats at Sea Street Dock or take a shuttle to Acadia Park. From here, even young children can walk or bike to most things.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
A sunny, private home.
