Our top floor condo has recently been renovated. This year we have added new carpet, new decor and furniture in the bedroom and completely renovated the bathroom. The best just keeps getting better!!
This wonderful retreat is roomy and has a great balcony overlooking the gleaming lake, Olympic-sized pool and private boat slips. We love to relax on the balcony, sip a cold drink and experience the most beautiful sunsets ever.
We have provided everything you might need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The living room has a most comfy sofa, TV, VCR/DVD and Stereo with CD player. For your entertainment we have provided a large selection of great books, video tapes, DVDs, music CDs, fun family games, cards and magazines.
If you care to eat in, we have equipped the kitchen to serve all of your needs from wine glasses to a large array of spices. Add to that a coffee maker, toaster and blender and you should be set for whatever you have a taste for.
You are guaranteed a great night sleep in our newly decorated bedroom featuring a most inviting king-size bed with 400 count cotton sheets and lots and lots of pillows.
In the bathroom you will find plush towels, hair dryer, curling iron and paper products.

Water activities at Smith Mountain Lake include power boating, canoeing, sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, swimming and fishing. There is a boat ramp located right on the property and with notice, we may be able to provide a boat slip in the marina for rent during your stay.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo is what I would call comfy and inviting. The deck is where we spend a good amount of our time overlooking the lake and all of its beauty and relaxing at the end of the day with a nice glass of wine watching the sun set over the lake......there's nothing else like it!! The bedroom has a wonderful king sized bed, with loads of pillows and crisp cotton sheets. I sleep like a baby when we are there. The living room has one of those sofas that make you want to just cuddle up and watch a good movie. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need and we love to stay in and cook and eat out on the deck. (Well, we love to eat out at all of the amazing restaurants too!!, so that's a toss up). The bathroom is spacious and the shower has awesome water pressure (a total must have for me!!). The property offers so many amenities...we can lay out at the pool, cook out down at the pavillion, rent a boat and spend the day out on the lake (or maybe two days!). Not far around the lake we can enjoy the State Park and the great beach they have there, or we can drive a bit and take a dip in the hot springs. I have never been at a loss for something to do while we are there. Take some time away from your everyday stress and let it all go at Smith Mountain Lake. Our condo awaits your visit.

We're Brian and Terri Brevig. After many years of raising our three children and getting them through college, we decided it was time to do something nice for ourselves. We had originally planned to buy a condo on the ocean, but after taking a trip to Smith Mountain Lake for a short weekend getaway....we fell in love.
It was our first visit to the lake and we found it peaceful, beautiful and a place that we could relax, experience nature, eat good food and meet great people. Before we returned home from the weekend, we found ourselves under contract to be the proud owners of this beautiful lake condo. It has been one of the best decisions we ever made. We get down to visit as often as we can with our busy schedules, but decided to share this great place with others who want to experience some of the best sunsets ever from our deck overlooking the lake. We hope you will love it just as much as we do!!

We really enjoyed your condo for a quiet weekend getaway without the kids. It is absolutely beautiful inside! We loved your decor - everything was really clean and had everything we would need for the weekend! We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the sunset, and the pool was awesome! We could have paid more for a hotel room with none of the comforts of home - this was WAY better! I wish there was a swimming dock or something, but we drove to the state park and it was great. Thanks for sharing your condo with us! We would love to come back and bring the boat!

This condo has become our favorite Smith Mountain Lake getaway retreat. We've been here three times and it's perfect for a couple for those long weekends at the lake. The view of the lake is indeed stunning both in the morning and evening. The location is great for short drives to our favorite restraurants and Smith Mountain Lake Community Park. We're looking forward to returning in the fall.

My wife and I stayed at the condo for two nights in June of 2011. It was a fantastic experience. The condo is fully stocked and well loved. The water pressure in the shower is as incredible as advertised. The view from the balcony over the lake is spectacular. The pool is enormous and the water was warm. The grill area is convenient and we enjoyed a number of meals there. There is a nice dock and my wife swam off the dock in the lake and we sat in chairs on the dock and enjoyed the serenity. All in all it was a wonderful, peaceful vacation. The condo was well-appointed, the living room was calming, and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the loud country music radio station that was played whenever we were poolside. It definitely clashed with the peaceful setting. All in all, we have a great time and highly recommend this condo.

Very nice place to stay. We arrived on Friday 06/24/2011 and foundt the pool was closed from a storm they had earlier in the week. The only info we could get from the security people was that it might be open on Sat, no promises. Disappointed us. Spent Sat. at state park, very nice, clean great place to enjoy the water. Iron leaked water very bad, should be replaced. Overall had a pretty good time, just never long enough. Thanks Terri for a very well kept condo.

I guess it is pretty hard to argue with Mother Nature :) I agree about the State Park, we love to go there. And, other than the great swimming in the lake and the picnic areas, we find it fun to hike the trails through the woods and along the shore line. In reference to the iron.....it is brand new. I don't believe it has ever been used, so I don't think it needs replacing. I find that if you don't let the iron get completely hot before using it and the water is filled to the full mark.....it will leak. Once it is hot enough and starts steaming, that doesn't happen anymore. Just a trick I found from using my own iron. We hope you will be back again. Thank you for always thinking of your condo as a place to spend your special occasions. Brian and Terri

We came to the lake to relax and go fishing on the lake for some striper bass. We hired a guide who picked us up at the dock. By 9 am, we had ten in the boat. Either way, if you are seeking a clean and comfortable place to relax then you will be happy to stay at this nicely appointed place. I certainly will be back. Thank you for making your home available.

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip in mid-August. We had a WONDERFUL time...very peaceful and relaxing! The bed was comfy, the pillows AWESOME (we're trying to find some just like them!) and the water pressure in the shower is UNBELIEVABLE! The highlight of our trip was renting a pontoon boat and spending an entire day on the Lake. Johnathan's Restaurant has excellent food AND service...we actually went there two of the three nights we were there. We loved your place and the area and thank you for sharing it with us. We hope to return and have already recommended it to our friends!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th year of blessed marriage this past Labor Day Weekend at the Cozy Lake Retreat and truly enjoyed our 4 day stay. The condo was adequately equipped and great value compared to other facilities considering this is our fourth weekend mini-vacation at Smith Mountain Lake at four different condos. The balcony view overlooking the cove with minimal boat traffic, docks, and pool area were most enjoyable and super relaxing. We cooked steaks on the gas grill in the pavillion and also did some light cooking in the cozy kitchen and found sufficient pots, pans and utensils. As stated elsewhere the king bed is very comfortable, the couch was great for lounging, and the water pressure in the shower was very good. The property was accurately described and there were no dissappointing surprises. The photos are good but the actual view is even better. Everything was maintained and in good working condition and the condo was very clean. I can certainly recommend this location to others -- I am sure you will find the accommodations very comfortable and very pleasing. We had our boat with us and spent some time on the water each day -- lots of water and it is easy to become disoriented -- it is wise to take a map on the lake. We also enjoyed meals at The Blackwater Cafe and Its a Small Plate -- both were enjoyable dining experiences. The Blackwater Cafe plates were plentiful and tastefully prepared; the Its a Small Plate was more gourmet style with more quality and less quantity but very enjoyable. I knew that I could contact the condo owner at anytime by phone if needed but that was not necessary -- all went very smoothly.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to visit family in the area. This condo is extremely clean. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Although we did not use the pool, it looked nice with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The grounds are well kept. We would definitely stay here again while visiting the area.

A very enjoyable stay, comfortable bed, felt more like home than a hotel room. We were attending a wedding over on Duddley Amos road so we were very close by, that was nice.

Thanks for letting us stay in your condo! It was unbelievable how clean everything was! We had a great time there for our first stay. We are already making plans to go back to the lake! I have no complaint about anything! While you're there you'll definately get a good night's sleep on the comfy king size bed too! Great place to stay!
