My family & I stayed at this gorgeous villa during the third week of June, 2011. My family consists of my husband, myself and our three children (ages 11, 9 & 9). We were initially looking for a condo in Barefoot Resorts since we stayed in River Crossing in 2008. When finding this villa on VRBO, we were very impressed with all of the amenities the villa had to offer. When I contacted Deb and found it was open, I immediately booked it. Deb & John were very nice to work with and answered my email questions promptly. The villa is located in a gated community and a security code is needed to get into the building and villa itself. Inside, the villa was decorated beautifully and exceptionally clean. The kitchen had all of the necessities including my favorite item from my own kitchen, a keurig coffee maker! Both bedrooms were spacious with walk-in closets and great views of the Intracoastal waterway. The master bathroom was very luxurious with double sinks, a shower and jetted tub! We also appreciated having the laundry room to use when needed. Our children loved the balcony the most! The view of the Intracoastal waterway was great and we often spent time relaxing out there in the evening. The grounds of Edgewater were meticulously maintained and covered with lush landscaping. There's also a nice walkway which parallels the waterway and leads to an awesome pool/hot tub. The pool was never overly crowded and was enjoyed by my children. This resort is only 5 minutes away from the beach by car. There is also a shuttle, which can be used to go to the beach. We didn't take advantage of this, but it is available. It is also very close to Bafefoot Landing and tons of good restaurants and things to do. Whenever we go back to Myrtle, we would definitely like to stay here again! I highly recommend this villa!!

My family and I enjoyed our vacation and are already looking forward to returning next year. The condo was the nicest place that we've stayed at in Myrtle Beach. It was very clean and very well maintained not only on the inside but on the outside as well. We enjoyed the beautiful large pool and the view of the waterway from the pool and the condo. We had a few questions when we first arrived and contacted Deb and she was so nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
