Everyone of us puts our heart and energy into planning our vacation destination. We want the very best we can obtain for ourselves, our friends and family. Let's face it....those vacation days are too few and too precious to "waste" with disappointments and frustrations! We are confident that you and yours will be content and comfortable with your stay with us.
We were thrilled to discover the Watercrest, located on the east end of Panama City Beach, which is the more serene, family friendly, less crowded section of the beach. It is very close to St. Andrews State Park, wonderful snorkeling, boat rides to Shell Island, and a short walk to Schooners (the "last" local bar and restaurant). A very appealing draw to the Watercrest for us was the unique layout of the building, with beautifully landscaped atriums in the central areas, overlooked by 18 floors with only 10 units per floor. No long, noisy catwalks here! Also a plus are the 4 elevators, two of them with fast access to the upper floors. No long elevator waits! This entire complex exudes relaxation and pleasure with the heated swimming pool, separate kiddie pool, hot tub, huge lounging decks and of course, direct access to the beautiful white sandy beach! Enjoy a game of tennis or shuffleboard on the newly renovated courts, or play a game racquet ball inside. Also enjoy the satisfaction of a great workout in the his & her workout rooms with a relaxing sauna afterwards!
The biggest asset we feel this unit offers you is the amazing views off of the large (almost 250 square feet) eleventh floor private balcony. Not only can you access the balcony off of the living area, but from two master bedrooms! The ocean breeze can follow you inside day or night. So many condo units only have a narrow view of the beach and ocean. This floor plan (the D model) is one of the most expansive to be found. Those sunsets are a wonderful way to end your day!
This condo is a three bedroom/three bathroom home. Ceiling fans are found throughout. Newly painted, ceramic tile (except bedrooms which have berber carpet!), and fun, beach decor gives a happy, relaxing atmosphere. Each oceanfront master has an unique, charming beach decor with new black out curtains and most importantly...a king size bed... with Sealy pillowtop mattresses! On suite bathrooms, ample closet space, and new flat screen TV units are also found in each. The third bedroom has two queen size beds.....also Sealy pillowtop mattresses! This room has another flat screen TV with built in DVD player...great for kids to enjoy in their own space. There is a third bathroom across the hall and also a stacked washer/dryer unit. So, there is room for 8, with a pull out sofa in the living room, that makes 10. Plenty of space to spread out and put those feet up! Truly all the luxuries of home. No need to pack linens (except for beach towels).... plenty are available.
The fully stocked kitchen offers the option of eating in.... of course, you can also call and order delivery, too! The dining area seats six, with space available at the bar area as well. Or, enjoy your meals out on the balcony patio table. If you're up to a short walk, enjoy a stroll down to Schooners, the last local beach bar/restraunt. If you're there at sundown, cover your ears! The tradition of the cannon blast is a loud one.... then the nightly music begins! The famous Captain Andersons Restraunt is found right down the street and is definitely worth the visit! We have a convenient listing of many delivery options and restraunts available for you.
The living room area has a new flat screen HDTV with a Blueray DVD player and netflix access (if you have an account) for the entire group to enjoy. There's also FREE WIRELESS INTERNET, a selection of books (feel free to take if you don't finish!), and a variety of board games to play.... that's what vacation is all about!

This was our second year in this condo and WE LOVE IT! We enjoy being at the "quiet end" while the teenage boys can go further west to meet up with friends. We love sitting on the beach doing nothing but relaxing for a week. We are close to everything! Property was very clean and well maintained. Great family condo. Kristie is great to deal with......we look forward to booking this room again for next year's vacation. I give this property A+++++ I
