This picturesque chalet boasts one of the most spectacular view of Lake Coeur d' Alene. Though only minutes from town, our location is very quiet and secluded. We are a short walk from the Centennial Trail. Shopping and fine dining are only minutes away. There are two restaurants within walking distance. The world renowned Coeur d' Alene golf course with its floating green is only one mile from us. The Iron Man Triathlon is held on the road right below the Chalet. The lake has a fleet of cruise boats that will take you around the lake. There is also a variety of water craft rentals and boat moorage is available. We have a private dock for use by our guests for boating, swimming, or fishing.
The chalet is quiet and cozy. Sit on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the boats float on the water. Walk down the hill and stroll along the Centennial Trail. You'll find many other people doing the same. Go into town and relax at a cafe, or go shopping and browsing at the galleries.
Lake Coeur d' Alene is arguably one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. Whether you spend your time relaxing and enjoying its beauty from the shore, or spend your time exploring all its features from the water, you will be enchanted by its beauty. Spend some time fishing, swimming in a cove, or watching the sailboats drift by from the deck.
Coeur d' Alene sponsors many events during the summer. Art on the Green is a large art and craft show spread out over three venues in August. The Iron Man Triathlon draws thousands of athletes and spectators. Fourth of July draws thousands of people to the lake shore to watch the fireworks. The Wooden Boat Show also has a great following. With numerous summer events and activities, you will never be bored.
The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen as well as BBQ area. We also have 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, a loft with a full size pull-out bed, and a full size sofa bed in the living area. Come relax in the perfect getaway!

Year Purchased: 1980
I am a retired elementary teacher. My husband and I have lived in beautiful Coeur d' Alene for many years. I enjoy renting our Chalet and introducing people to everything Coeur d' Alene has to offer. It has given me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people.
Why the Owner Chose Silver Beach
The property has been in my husbands family for many years. His parents bought it from the original homesteaders and subdivided it into individual lots. The chalet was built as a place to have family gatherings. Later we built our home on the same property.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The location is perfect because while it is very quiet and peaceful we are only 5 minutes from the center of town. We can go into town for dinner then come home and sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the lake or watch the deer come down from the wooded area behind the chalet. We also enjoy walking on the Centennial trail that runs along the lake. What we like best is to go boating on the lake. My husband fishes while I lounge and enjoy watching the osprey fly to and from their nests. We have just finished building a dock so guests can enjoy the lake more.

This property worked out wonderfully for my family. It was described perfectly and as clean as pictured. It was close enough to town, but secluded enough to be private and quiet. My elderly parents, especially my father who has challenging health issues, was able to watch the lake activity from the deck. The owner was as delightful as the email messages led me to believe. This was a good one! Thanks again, Martha!!
