We were happily surprised by this place. The view was awesome, looking right at Yaquina Head. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked (picky, but a coffee grinder would be great), and the decor was clean, an modern. The master is amazing. So much so that it makes the back bedroom look puny in comparison. Direct beach access is down a pretty good bank, so not appropriate for young kids or those lacking good mobility. The extra living room fold out cot is not great, would recommend sleeping bags on the floor.

My wife and I invited a couple from out of state who we knew from college. All four of us were so pleased the way this condo met and exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised how well the kitchen was outfitted and there was nothing we needed that wasn't supplied. We enjoyed it so much we spent our two September days mostly visiting either on the patio or indoors. What a pleasant way to visit friends and dine in! A grocery store within a short driving distance supplied us with food to prepare. We know the Newport area so I won't go into things to see, as all that info is available anywhere online. We liked the quiet street slightly off the beaten path. Very peaceful and also beach access was a not too difficult path down to the beach if you are in average physical shape. I look at being a condo guest as a two way street so we tried to leave the place in very good shape and as clean as we found it, which was excellent. Our thanks to Karin for the careful and prompt attention she gave us at our first inquiry right up to our deposit refund and a kind note she wrote us following our stay. We plan on returning next time we get the chance. I am glad no one has rated this place below 5 stars. Take my word for it, the rating is well deserved. Our thanks to the condo owners.

This is a nice place to go. My wife and I have stayed at many vrbos and If I get anywhere near Newport again, I plan on trying to return to this place. Great view. Thanks again Karen.

Expectations Surpassed!!

This property was everything we had expected from the reviews/pictures, AND MORE. The property couldn't have been closer to the beach! The pictures on VRBO just don't do this condo justice. We woke up each morning to a gorgeous view: able to see the beach, ocean, and an historic lighthouse. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for the couple of meals we decided to make (although there are no shortage of great places to eat in Newport or neighboring cities). The condo was the perfect place to come back to after each eventful day of activities (beaches, breweries, restaurants, whale watching, shopping, etc.). The surrounding condos either had no residents, or were other rental condos where nobody had booked. It was very serene, perfect for a romantic getaway.

What a fabulous property to spend a week away from realities of a working life. My wife and I spent a whole week her along with a cosin and his wife. The girls spent a whole afternoon getting the full spa treatment nearby while we boys spent the full day on a salmon fishing adventure. A few trips to the Chinook Winds Casino, a day at the aquarium and Rogue Brewery. Lot's of sightseeing. Watched the whales from the patio for several days. The condo was such an awesome place to return to when we were ready to kick back. The kitchen has every amenity we could have asked for and more. Wished we could have used the awesome gas range a little more than we did but never ran out of interesting places to eat in Newport. •Was the listing descripton accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc? Pictures are not the same condo but very similar regarding kitchen and bedrooms! Very high Quality amenities! •Was the property clean, was it well-maintained, etc? Could have been cleaner but only with furniture polish, fewer fingerprints,and more attention to detail. Overall it was very acceptable. •Did the owner provide good customer service? Could never get any assistance with getting wireless internet to work. Beyond that we had excellent customer service in finalizing our reservations and payment with several changes along the way. Overall it was very good. •Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? Absolutely. What could have been better? 1. The patio barbeque was a rust bucket! Never got a chance to use it and not sure I would have. It does not do justice to the quality of this property. 2. Had several light bulbs out ..... only a minor problem and there were spares available had i not been on vacation. 3. There are six folding lawn/beach chairs in the kitchen closet but at least four of them are broken and unuseable. The teak table and two chairs on the patio are awesome but there should be at least four teak chairs for this facility. 4. Being in the security business, I understand the challenges with Key control. That being said, I could offer many suggestions to overcome your need to provide only one key that needs to be put in the lockbox whenever you leave if there are more than one person or one couple staying in the facility. Overall this was a great facility and we look forward to many future visits. We have not yet had our damage deposit returned but feel confident it will be returned soon. We've vacationed at the Oregon coast for 30 years, this condo is top drawer! The view is fabulous, every amenity is available: beach chairs, spa bathtub, terry robes - you name it. We'll be back.

Amazing. We spent our 9th anniversary weekend here. The local food was great. Everything you could ask for in a get away weekend. We loved it so much we are seriously considered trying to buy the condo next door. YOU MUST SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!!! It was simply amazing.

the home and furniture appear to be less than 1 year old. home well decorated. the view is better than the pictures. the kitchen is well equipped d with all the modern cooking equipped possible. appliances are commercial quality, i really liked the home and location, it was quiet, yet close to everything

The condo is perfect in every way - it is even better than the pictures and the view is to die for. The location is very convenient and there's lots to do within a very short distance. I can't wait for my next visit!
