Drive to Potash- this drive located just before the entrance to Arches National Park follows the Colorado River for ~10 miles and is incredibly picturesque.
Corona Arch- ~7 miles down the road to Potash on your right. Moderate hike (~2.5 miles RT).
Dead Horse Point State Park- in our opinion, some of the most jaw-dropping views in the area.
Fiery Furnace- Ranger led hike thru the Fiery Furnace in Arches NP. ~$10/pp and you do have to book in advance.
Float Trip on the Colorado River- you can enjoy some incredible scenery on a great canoe float trip (great for almost all ages). You can do a day trip or multi-day trip. Google (Tex's Riverways) to find out more about float trips on the Colorado or Green River.
Staying at our townhome at Rim Village Vistas will make for an enjoyable Moab getaway. Willing to discount price for longer stays and will entertain month+ stays. Why the Owner Chose Moab
We absolutely LOVE Moab, Utah. With the national parks, mountain biking, beautiful weather... we just cannot get enough of this area. We enjoy the beautiful desert scenary and the amazing beauty of the red rocks in the area. Everytime we go down to Moab, we find a wonderful new place whether it is Mill Creek (our new favorite outdoor water hole to cool off in the summer) or a random trail where we find pictographs or even dinosaur tracks... Moab is just an amazing place.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Our 3 bdrm. townhome is in Spanish Valley which is 5 miles south of Moab. From the master bdrm. balcony, we have great views of the La Sal mountain range. We also enjoy the amenities that our complex offers (tennis court, pool, hot tub) and we especially enjoy visiting as Matt's parents now live on-site. We believe this will be an added benefit to our guests as if a situation arises, Paul & Kathy, live just around the corner and can help in whatever situation came up.
The area is very kid friendly (small playground next to the tennis courts, in a cul-de-sac so you do not have to worry about cars driving fast) and the location allows quick access to town when you want to go in to enjoy all that Moab has to offer but also allows for some R&R when you want to be away from the action of downtown Moab.
Matt's parents live 2 units over, so if you have any issues while you are there, someone is close by to assist.
Man made lake. Nice hikes in the area with one leading up to a great waterfall in the summer.
Great hike along Mill Creek. Some watering holes in the summer for kids to play in. We really enjoy this hike and the area.
Great 1/2 day to multi day float trip through this area. You can go all the way down to the confluence of the Green & Colorado River. Google Tex's Riverways to set-up your float trip. Lot of fun.
This is just a great scenic drive. If you are coming in from Colorado, come in this way to Moab via the Como exit. In the summer, head out this way and do the LaSal Loop if it is getting too hot in
Easy-Moderate 1.25 (One Way) hike up to Corona Arch. One of the nices arches outside of Arches NP. The road to Corona Arch is a BEAUTIFUL drive as well with other hikes and pictographs along the w
This is a MUST! Often overlooked as people mainly visit Arches & Canyonlands but the views from Dead Horse Point are awe inspiring and a true MUST during your trip to Moab. Great loop hike leading f
The pin placement might be off, but this is a really cool arch with an insance view through it. Probably one of the most photographed shots in the area and you will see why. Great sunrise picture if
The famous arch that graces the Utah license plates. 1.5 mile (one way) moderate to slightly strenuous hike. Bring water and if doing in the summer, go early or late in the evening.
Stop by to get ideas on hikes, bike rides or recommended jeep trails in the area. Great books and maps of the area at the Visitor Center.
Nice area for petroglyphs and a ghost town. http://climb-utah.com/Moab/sego.htm
Love Frisbee golf?? Come check out Moab's frisbee golf course. http://moabdiscgolf.mindfloss.com/
Great place for kids! Playgrounds, BIG musical instruments to play with. Great walk along Mill Creek starts here as well. Nice burger stand/shakes just past Rotary Park on the right (as you head d

Hello, we are Heidi & Matt Eilers. We LOVE to travel with some recent trips being to Africa (to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and go on safari), Egypt and New Zealand to see Matt's parents who were until just recently, living on the South Island of New Zealand.
We live in Summit County, Colorado and on March 31st, 2009, welcomed our firstborn, Emmaline Sierra Eilers, into the world. Recently, we have become even more busy and returning to the days of no sleep as we welcomed Evan Landon Eilers into our family in late Oct. 2011.

Hi Matt! Thanks so much for our stay in your condo in Moab. The four senior ladies enjoyed hiking, site seeing, swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. The condo had everything that anyone would need and all of the information that you supplied was very helpful. This was a special time for two of the ladies who had not visited that area previously and had it on their bucket list. Best wishes from all of us! Betty
Owner response:So glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for letting us be a part of your trip to Moab. Glad that the "newbies" to Moab enjoyed their time and best of luck on continuing your travels and knocking off items on the bucket list. Kind Regards, Matt

My family of 5 rented this condo in August 2011 and loved it. The pictures are accurate and the location is great. The views can't be beat. The home provided the accessibility we wanted to town and hiking, biking, boating, and shopping/dining. The beds were comfortable and the AC works like a champ! My only "complaint" is there was no hair dryer. We will definitely rent here again!
Owner response:Hi Melinda, Thanks for choosing our unit for your vacation and glad you had a great time in the Moab area. For future renters that are reading this, we provide most everything for day to day living except 1) hair dryer & 2)iron as we used to, but these items kept finding a way to disappear so we decided to stop providing these items as they evidently did not want to stay in our unit :-) Hope to see you on a future trip to Moab. Happy travels!-Matt

Hi Matt, Now that we are home from our USA holiday I just wanted to send a quick thank-you note to say we had a wonderful time in Moab and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your townhouse. It was lovely to have a place to call "home" at the end of a long day sightseeing, the longest day being when we got up at 4 a.m. to make the drive/walk in to Mesa Arch for sunrise and then went back to see the sunset at Grand View Point. Well worth the effort and an experience to be treasured for many years to come. You have done a wonderful job with the accommodations and, on the off chance that anyone we know is travelling to Moab, we will highly recommend your "home away from home". Thanks once again, Sharon Hxxxxxx
