  A total of 9 of us (5 adults 4 kids) stayed at Villa Izcalli for 1 week and it was absolutely amazing. Beautiful big house with very spacious bedrooms and large bathrooms in every room and we were very surprised to find every bathroom equipped with bottles of shampoo,conditioner, body soap and body lotion. The house has really nice and comfortable furniture is well maintained and kept very clean (even the barbecue was spotless) . The cleaning staff did an excellent job and were very pleasant. In one incidence they noticed that the dishwasher did not do a good job so they took out every single item and washed them by hand. The rooftop view is spectacular and the kids loved the ping-pong table. Very close to the beach and only a short walk to 5th Ave. Most importantly it was a great pleasure working with Erin, very hospitable and accommodating, she even allowed us to check-out later as we had a late day flight. After much research we are so happy we chose Villa Izcalli, it was everything we had hoped for and much more. We would definitely recommend Villa Izcalli to all our friends and family and we will certainly stay here again next time we return to Playa del Carmen.

  Staying at Villa Izcalli is like being spoiled! The house is beautiful and the pictures do not give it justice. It is a very big house and the amenities is amazing. I've rented many homes before and this one makes moving in and leaving so easy, it really is a vacation. Most homes i've rented asks me to wash the dishes, throw out the trash, and clean up before moving out. This house comes with maid service! How great is it to use the dishes and not need to worry about cleaning them. This is a vacation right? The staff and team are easy to work with. Book it, because you will be pampered!

  Eleven of us all friends, spend 5 nights in this amazing house, it was a wonderful experience with all the amenities that you might need during your stay. The pool was amazing with beach view. They clean the house twice during my stay and clean ALL, even the Grill !!. They ask us several times if all was good, and always care about our needs. We never felt like there was a lot of us in the house there is enough space so you don't fell uncomfortable. You don't need a car to rent this property, since is like 8 blocks away from 5th avenue, a Taxi from there to CocoBongo can charge you $70 - $80 Mexican pesos. like $6 US.

  We were 11 friends from all over the world to gather in Villa Izcalli for a week. Everyone of us were fully satisfied ! Plenty of place, the bedrooms are great... all have their own bathrooms. The living room is huge and we had great dinners there. The must is the roof top with the swimming pool. Most of us enjoyed the tennis table as well! Erin and Dante were very helpful to assist us in everything. I organised a birthtday party thanks to Susan, the cooker, and this was simply stunning. Food and cocktails were more than appreciated!! Nothing bad to report during our stay.. We only wish we could stay longer...!

  My extended family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children aged 4-14) stayed here the first week of August of 2011. The house was beautiful, very spacious, and met our needs perfectly. The rooms are all large, and even when all eleven of us were hanging out in the kitchen dining room area at night, it never felt crowded. Most of our house time, however, was spent on the roof! We often spent a few hours at the beach in the morning (no one within 150 yards of us) then went up to the house for lunch and the afternoon/happy hour at the rooftop pool). The pool is really a great size (maybe 18x18') so it was great for kids playing and adults lounging and having a margarita and looking at the amazing view of the Carribean. Dante, the property manager, came by 3 or 4 times during the week to make sure all was well and take care of a few minor house issues (leaky bathroom sink, dishwasher needed maintenance) - all was handled quickly and quietly. We did a lot of walking to town (about 10 minutes to get the the south edge of town via either the road or the beach). Besides eating out a lot in town (try Carboncitas for good mexican and a reasonable price) we cabbed to Walmart several times (70 pesos) to stock up on breakfast and lunch stuff and beer, wine, etc. Just had to call Playacar security and ask for a taxi and one would be at our door in two minutes. Some fair snorkeling down to the right of the Villa, but for great experience, call Steve at Reefquest Divers (he did Discover Scuba course and several dives for my 3 sons and I and it was awesome - they are right on the beach at about calle 10). We also did the Zipline tour one day at Selvatica - our whole family did it and had a great time. There were a few small issues with this house: first the toilets are very weak and often do not flush even when there is nothing in them - this was quite frustrating. Second, it would have been nice if there was at least a small grocery within walking distance - there is an OXXO (like 7-11, but only carries beer, soda and junk food). Overall I highly recommend this rental and would stay again in a heartbeat!

  10 of us stayed at villa izcalli for thanksgiving..it was wonderful.. the beach is a 100 feet away..you can easily walk to 5th street for a nice meal.if you need a taxi it cotsts 5 dollars.to go to 5th street..you can walk down the beach and find wonderful seashells..the ferry is a 10 min stroll..we had susan a chef that works with the rental property cook for us and it was great..the house is huge. there are 4 floors.. the bottom floor has 2 smaller bedrooms each with there own bathrooms and another room with a tv with a ping pong table the washer and dryer and a nice backyard with grass....the 2nd floor has 3 bigger bedrooms with there own bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms have a patio but, you can only see the house in front of you.. the upstairs has a huge living room, a big dinning room table, and a nice kitchen..then you go outside there are a nice table and chairs, to sit at and see the dinning room/living room .. go up to the 4th floor you have a nice size pool and lounge chairs with a nice table seats 6 to see the ocean and beach..they are building a house in front of this one so you can only see the ocean from the 4th floor..at night we would sit up there and have drinks and listen to the ocean.the house come with beach chairs and some toys. we did the xcaret. dont do the river..its hard and long... the 1 hr swim with the dolphins was well worth the money..snorkel looked good, and the rest of the park was neat..i wouldn't do the atlantis submarine out of cozumel.you don't see much..my brother did the hummer tour,liked it. but it was a long day..my husband scuba, but it was much prettier to scuba in cozumel vs palya..the water is clearer in cozumel.but, the beaches are rockier.the place the house is in is called playa car phase1.. it is very safe..we walked every where. at all times..they have guards to check every car..you can go on google earth and really see the house and the city..erin, the prperty manager was wonderful..

  Absolutely beautiful villa in Playa Del Carmen. Perfect location, close to beach and quiet but very easy walking distance to all the action in Playa. We were six guys on a fishing trip, and the villa could not have been more perfect. Could have just as easily been 6 couples, or several families with kids. Can't say enough good things about how great this place was.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  The house was very warm an cozy. it was our 8th annual girls trip. We always rent a house and this one was perfect. It is close to the beach and the roof top pool was fabulous. The house is in a perfect location to town and restaurants. Erin was great at helping us with every detail. Susan is an excellent cook if you want an evening of pure enjoyment. It was probably our best trip so far.

  My family (a combination of 4 siblings and their children - a total of 13 people) stayed at Villa Izcalle 7/3/10 thru 7/10/10. The pictures on the website don't really do it the full justice it deserves. The house is very spacious, all bedrooms and bathrooms are big, the views from each floor are awesome - particularly the rooftop pool area, which was a hotspot for our group. The house was spotless! We grilled out, enjoyed the floats and beach gear and walked to town several times. Having the housekeepers come in twice while we were there, really made a difference, since we dragged in some sand. Everything you can imagine is there - including beach towels! They really thought of everything! The ping pong table was a hit with the kids. There are ipod docking stations and several flat screen tvs. It was worth every penny! The only negative was that they are constructing a new house between the beach and the villa. There wasn't any noise that bothered us, but the construction site was pretty rough looking. Too bad that eventually something will block the view of the beach. If you are looking for a fabulous house on the water, with a pool and close to 5th Ave, stay here! You won't regret it!

  We would definitely stay here again. Our vacation was an all adult vacation getaway and we found the paradise and relaxation we were looking for! Beautiful, clean and spacious! Also couldn't ask for a better house manager! Thank you Erin, for everything!
