We stayed here between Christmas and New Years. For our family of five there was more than enough room for everyone. The home is very nicely furnished and comfortable. I especially liked the fireplace which has it's own thermostat for heating the house. We arrived in the evening and spent the next day skiing. When we went to use the hot tub that night we discovered it wasn't on. Since we have a hot tub at home my husband was able to find the issue and plug the fuse back in. It took another full day for the hot tub to heat up. When I mentioned this to the rental agent, her comment was, "Oh the business that maintains the hot tub must have forgotten to turn it back on when they serviced it last week. Here's there phone number in case you need to get in touch with them next time." Really!? Isn't that her job? Also we had planned on cooking most of our meals. The pots and skillets were very cheap, and in poor condition. The bottoms were so warped that they rolled around on top of the range. There are plenty of places to rent in Sunriver. While this one is very affordable for the number of people it will sleep and was very nice. I'd like to be sure of what I'm getting and I don't think the rental agent is taking very good care of this place. I'll be looking for places not under their managment either.

The house was actually a lot better than the description, or maybe my expectations were not as high as they should have been. This was my first ever experience with VRBO & this was as good of an experience as one could ever expect. It was just three of us staying in the home, but we spent less money than we would have at the lodge, and it was a lot better than any lodge experience we have ever had at Sunriver. Give the house cleaners a lot of credit as this place was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed and more. We watched a movie every night on the surround sound from their private movie library, Blind Side, Ladder 49 & Walk the Line. The cruiser bikes and mountain bikes were in very good shape. Jennifer, who is managing the house, will walk you through the procedure to get the keys and what to do when you leave. She was very helpful, and communicated quickly with us. The only downside was our favorite place to eat.... The Trout House.... has turned into a Mexican restaurant. Good food, but not "The Trout House" :( I would reccomend this home to anyone. Great location to ride the bikes to Hot Lava Bakery every morning! We loved it... Thanks for sharing your home!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The main bedroom, upstairs was very comfortable and slept very well in the comfy bed. Bike trails are close and walking distance to everything. We had a friendly chipmunk that entertained our 2 year old grandson. The showers are a little short for tall people but we made do because it was a wonderful home. Thank you so much. The house is wonderful. Beautiful amenities. We had a most wonderful time. There is a friendly chipmunk my grandson enjoyed that lives under the deck. He loved grapes but hated raspberries. The house is situated on a really neat cul de sac. He rode his bike around and had a blast. My granddaughter made one of the bedrooms into her "apartment". Fun was had by all. The shower heads are a little short but we just made do. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time in Sunriver over spring break. The house was perfect for our two families. The house is nicely furnished with everything you would need. We used the bikes on the bike paths and the inter-tube on the sledding hill near Bend. The owners were great to work with and answered my emails immediately. We will return to this property in the future.

We stayed during Thanksgiving 2009 and loved it. It had everything we needed to prepare a full meal for our family. Just bring the Turkey. Very modern decor, very clean, very spacious. We didn't want to leave. Also the owner was very prompt with email replies and we had no problems with payment or making reservations. The location is nice to. We walked to the Village Mall and a short drive to the lodge. In the summer you could probably walk to both, but we had snow.. Thanks again. I highly recommend this property!

My wife and I along with my brother and his 4 boys stayed here the end of February 2009. The updated kitchen with new appliances was very nice. Granite countertops and the large cooking area were very nice. The layout is good and the house is great for families with kids. The kids loved having a t.v. in their rooms. We liked the upstairs bedroom w/ master bath and walk-in closet. The wifi was great and got plenty of use. Great hottub for relaxing after a day at the slopes. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we are in Sunriver/Bachelor.

This home was a great place for our base camp during a weekend filled with activities. After we climbed the South Sister on Saturday, it was nice to come back here and recharge our batteries. The hot tub was especially helpful! This was the first of what we hope will become an annual .. retreat, so perhaps we'll be seeing this home again! Thanks a ton!
