The Siena apartment, in the recently remodeled Tuscan farmhouse Certino, is located at the edge of a large olive grove, on the grounds of the beautiful Grotti Castle. The apartment has been furnished and decorated with care and is situated on two floors of the country house. Though recently restored, details of the past were conserved so you can still admire the remains of a stone tower, the floors in terra cotta and the wooden beams made of walnut on the ceilings.
You can walk to the castle, stay in the small hamlet of Grotti, or walk to the near village of Ville di Corsano through the enchanted Tuscan countryside and the olive groves. it is like going back in time or living in a dream. The place has remained unchanged over the centuries. The real Tuscan experience!
This vacation rentals has accommodations for 4 guests and is comprised of :

From the courtyard of the farmhouse, you enter the living area with fireplace. To the right you'll find the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a 4 burner stove, refrigerator and all the necessities to cook for 4.
From the living room, on the left an archway leads to a large staircase of terra cotta tiles which takes you to a large landing on the upper floor. The landing on the upper floor of the apartment leads to the two bedrooms, one of which has a picture window with a wonderful view of Siena and the other with a view of a large olive grove. The bath is complete with shower, sink, water closet and bidet. This apartment, as with all apartments in the Certino farmhouse, has centralized heating.
*Upon request, laundry facilities are available.
*Nearby, at just 600 meters, you'll find the village of Ville di Corsano with a restaurant, bar, post office and supermarket.
*Siena is at 12 km., Firenze at 80 Km., Grosseto at 63 Km.
*You can easily make day trips to some of the most beautiful towns of Tuscany: Pienza at 50 Km, Monteriggioni at 32 Km, San Gimignano at 46 Km, the Abbey of San Galgano at 32 km. or visit the medival towns of Val di Merse.
