Enjoy "ISLAND RETREAT" at Hartstene Pointe, a gated community on Harstine Island. Hartstene Pointe lies at the southern end of Puget Sound between Shelton and Bremerton off Highway 3. As you drive across Harstine Island’s large bridge, you leave life's complexities behind and enter an enchanted, tranquil island of scenic natural beauty.
The Hartstene Pointe community includes amenities that all guests can enjoy including three miles of beaches, varied trails, covered picnic areas, an exercise room, and tennis courts. Strolling along the roads and trails, you may see deer, raccoons, red foxes, and eagles. In the summer, the heated pool and hot tub are ready for you to enjoy. The Clubhouse contains ping-pong and billiard tables as well as a library of books, videos, puzzles, and games.
"ISLAND RETREAT" -- THE HOUSE ...
* Great Room -- You'll thrive in the abundant light from windows and skylights and admire the vaulted cedar ceilings. Relax in the large, and open living room, dining room, and "View Room". Warm yourself beside our thermostatically controlled propane stove and gaze at the fire's dancing flames.
* View Room -- Renew yourself by reading in the comfortable swivel rocking chairs or gazing across Case Inlet to Herron Island. Perhaps you’ll see eagles fly past. The View Room opens to the deck and provides a splendid waterfront view. Dominating the view is Mt. Rainier, easily seen whenever “the mountain is out.”
* Dining area -- The new dining table and six chairs allow you to savor your meals in comfort.
* Kitchen -- The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware, microwave, and toaster. Authentic Dutch tiles decorate the counters.
* Bedrooms -- Three bedrooms allow plenty of room for six guests. Two large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings offer new queen beds. The "Tugboat Room" has a new day bed with two twin mattresses.
* Bathrooms -- Two full bathrooms with tubs
* Deck -- The expansive deck draws you even closer to the spectacular views of Case Inlet and Herron Island. Sometimes you will see and hear the waves and swaying cedars, Douglas fir, seagulls, and crows. The deck chairs and table are there for your outdoor dining pleasure.

Low Season ................ Oct 01-Apr 30 .. $170/night (7th night free)
$250 refundable security deposit in separate check.
$75 non-refundable cleaning fee.
Initial deposit: first night's rent plus non-refundable cleaning fee.
Full amount due when you pick up the keys.
