As our family prepared to moved to New York we decided to take a road trip and stay in a peaceful quiet area for a night on the way. And we found this beautiful, cozy, comfortable cottage! The only thing is...the stars in the sky, the fireflies, the sound of the breeze through the trees, and the silence of the night have made me wonder...why are we going to live in New York????

A friend and I stayed for four nights in June of 2011 and found that everything we could possibly need was at hand in the cottage. We did not even have to venture out for breakfast as the kitchen was well stocked with fresh eggs, bread, bacon and more. We found the cottage features as described. Everything was clean and in good order. Would definitely rent again.

Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have had a wonderful visit to your lovely cottage. We especially enjoyed the deer that visit your woods and property. The blue jays are magnificent and we fed the squirrels and enjoyed "the show". Our trips to Natural Bridge and the Greenbrier completed a wonderful and relaxing time. Thanks for accomodating us at the last moment and we really appreciate your basket in the refrigerator and the beautiful music that greeted us...a welcoming touch.

Thanks so much for all the fine foods in the basket and for appointing the kitchen so well. I was able to make an early Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. The guest house is so comfortable and the decorations and books make it feel like home right away. We appreciate all those little touches and the cleanliness of the house.
