We had a marvelous family weekend here for Mother's Day! The house was beautiful! The Beach was just wonderful! I highly recommend this place. We had Pool and Ping Pong tournaments and spent a lot of time in the Jacuzzi and on the beach. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful home. Better than advertised. Clean, airy, made for having fun and relaxing. Right on the sand. 180-degree ocean view. Nice comfortable beds, FANTASTIC shower. We spent a great Mother's day with friends, family and food. Kids were occupied 24/7! This stretch of beach is perfect - wide, clean and pretty empty. Owners very easy to deal with. Just a great time at a beautiful beach house. You'll feel like a movie star.

My family stayed here in 2010 and I have wanted to return. What better way than to bring my high school friends here to enjoy your home! We all had an amazing, relaxing time in your home and beach! They couldn't stop commenting how this was SO much better than staying in a hotel!! Looking forward to another stay at The Beach Front Castle!

The perfect beach getaway

While the weather was uncooperative, the house and location were both amazing. The kids and adults found plenty to do and we can't wait to go back. We recommend bringing bikes to explore the area as the house is in a wonderful community with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The house offers a small kitchen downstairs by the beach with the main kitchen on the second floor. It worked well for us as we had 5 little kids running in and out of the house to play on the beach. We highly recommend this house if your planning a beach getaway.

Great weekend getaway

This was a vacation like no other- House was exactly as listing showed - beautiful, clean and lots of "extas" to accomodate us ~ Weather was beautiful, surf was great and it was a perfect spot for walking on the clean sandy beach ~or just relaxing on the porch overlooking the ocean.The jacuzzi on the porch was great too! It was perfect for our family and guests who came by ~We would definitely recommend this house to a family or group .~~Loads of room and things to do ~~we did not leave the property during our stay to do anyting else but enjoy it and the beach ! The owners are great people to work with as well ~

We were very pleasantly surprised with the nice accommodations at the Beach Front Castle. The incomparable views, the overall layout, and the roominess all made our stay memorable. We have rented many homes in this area over the years, and this was one of the best. The kitchen was also well-equipped - important for our cooking family. And of course, the pool table and ping pong table make the evenings a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

It has the perfect location, great views, in a great neighborhood. The weather that week was kind of cloudy and cold, except for a couple days of sun. I guess that's to be expected for Oxnard. Nevertheless, it was a great week. We got the R&R that we so badly needed :o) Last but not least, Shirley is so great. She's a real sweetheart and so easy to work with. Oxnard beauty

Although we did not have the sunniest days (but we know that about the California coast) we had a great vacation in this home. The house is in great condition, well furnished and has almost every gadget you would need. All of the beds were comfortable. Game room, computer access, wonderful. No wine glasses, but we left ours from wine tasting for the next guests! The spa on the deck is great, sit and relax and watch the sunset after your day on the beach. Close to Ojai, Ventura, Santa Barbara for quick day trips when the sun does not come out till later. The pictures do not lie, they are current! I would definitely recommend this house and return to it, and we have stayed at many in Oxnard over the last 20 years.

Had a great time at "castle". Clean, uncrowded beach. Spacious house in quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables and hot tub. Kitchen well supplied with dinnerware and utensils. Good restaurants at Ventura Harbor (short drive away). Looking forward to returning next year. Our thanks to Roger and Shirley for sharing their beach house.

What an amazing family vacation we had in your home! The house has EVERYTHING one needs from adults to kids. Having grown up in Oxnard, old friends came over to hang out, which we did on the wonderful deck and the beach, & they loved it as much as we did. Our boyz played football on the very open and clean beach, and LOVED the game room! We can't wait to return next year! Thank you!!

My sister and I rented out the beach home for my mom's 70th birthday. We had a perfect time! The weather was great. We sat around and watched the kids play in the sand. Nothing better than sitting in the spa listening to the ocean and watching the sunset. My dad would have been bored if it was not for the pool table and ping pong table. Would love to stay at this home again. The owner, Shirley, is a sweetheart and was committed into making our little vacation perfect. Received my deposit check in less than a week. Other beach homes that I have stayed in took a month.

Great Beach Vacation

We had an extended family vacation in August 2008 (with beautiful weather) that included 6 adults and three children ages 8, 5, and 3. The home is large and was very comfortable for all of us. The home is in great shape and very clean. The beach here is great and the children loved making sand castles. The well-equipped game room was enjoyed by all. The hot tub on the balcony is very relaxing and provided spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. Lots of beach equipment was provided to meet all our needs. The owners were very helpful and the rental process went smoothly. A local contact nearby was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend this home to others.

We loved this property! It was absolutely wonderful. Very tastefully furnished and the layout was great. Alot of care to detail and comfort. On the sand; quiet part of the street; fully loaded kitchen and the barbeques at sunset were fantastic. I would return there again in a minute.
