  • First, let me just provide a little back ground. My family and I travel to the Palm Springs/La Quinta area once or twice a year and always rent week long vacation houses for a little rest and relaxation. The rental house that we usually stay at was fully booked on our last planned trip so we thought we would take a chance and stay somewhere new. We are discerning travelers and appreciate first class accommodations. Our vacation time is precious due to our busy work/life schedules so we always look forward to quality vacations together as a family. In any event and as our normal rental house was booked, we ended up staying at this property and are expectations (and they were very, very high) were far exceeded. The house is simply stunning. Sometimes pictures can over exaggerate but in this case the photos on this listing do not do this house justice at all! All the furniture and fixtures are top notch and the hose is fully stocked (even all the pool toys for our kids). The best part is the backyard which overlooks the 9th tee on the Norman course. The backyard is spacious as the property is an end lot with a large pool, BBQ island, spa and a rather large grassy, park like area. Though the views are great, the backyard feels completely private and this is a huge plus compared with many other fairway houses where sometimes you feel like you are in a fish bowl. I highly recommend this property. It’s especially great for families with 3 large bedrooms and plenty of living space (both inside and out). And, the weekly rate is a great value. Some homes we were looking at were 50% higher and were certainly not nearly as well appointed. A nice touch was that the owner called the day of our check in and wanted to make sure everything was OK. My only complaint is that it took me several hours to figure out how to use the remote control for the stereo/tv/dvd system. Oh…and the fact that when we finally got back home (Los Angeles) our house was looking tired and dated in comparison!

  • We had a great time staying in this beautiful home. Brand new luxury appliances, nice furniture, TVs and stereo system made this a five star experience. My family and I would definitely come back. The owners were extremely nice and didn't mind taking the time to explain how to use the all of the home features. The location is good if you are interested in the PGA West/La Quinta area and the trip to Indian Wells was very manageable each day that we traveled to the tennis tournament there (15 minutes). Our kids loved the pool. All and all, this definitely gets 2 thumbs up from us.

  • My husband and I simply loved staying in this wonderful home. The house is beautiful as well as the pool and the garden. We loved it. We are looking forward visiting again in the near future!
