  Everything you could ask for in a rental. Great location, great kitchen and lots of space. Beaches, shops and places to eat all within very short walks. Extremely clean and well stocked with towels, beach toys and area information. Super place for kids and adults alike. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation!

  This home is very beautiful. We enjoyed how clean and comfortable it was. The home was well stocked with toilet paper, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc. The beds were comfortable. I loved the Master Bathroom with the skylights. It was a joy to get ready for the day with so much light. We enjoyed reading on the deck and enjoying the gorgeous view of the bay. We used the bikes that were provided and also the many beach toys and chairs. My grandma enjoyed the library and my kids were happy to discover the "children's book section." It is seriously 5 minutes from Sea World. The garage is a "two car" garage. Do NOT try to fit two LARGE vehicles into the space. It is too tight. We had a lot of 20-point turns trying to get our two mid-sized SUV's to squeeze in. :) It is nice to have a garage though, because there is really no other good parking. Really, this place is just lovely. The walk to the bay is only 30 steps. The path along the bay leads to a great playground where our kids spent a lot of the evenings. The ocean is so accessible as well. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. We found a nice bakery near the ocean that had buy one get one free cinnamon rolls. We got them fresh out of the oven and they were divine! You will enjoy this location and the overall Mission Bay experience I am sure.

  Fast, responsive owner. Clean, nice home. Very reasonable rates. We had a great time. This was almost the perfect VBRO rental for me.

  The home is generally very nice. Modern appliances, upgraded finishing, and very clean. The two downstairs sleeping rooms will sleep two adults below and one kid above for a total of six. The master bedroom on the third floor easily sleeps two adults. Kids could sleep on the sofa and/or hideaway, but adults would not want to sleep on the second floor. Six adults and two to three kids is about the maximum number of overnight guests. Sound carries very well in the house, so consider this as well. The location is fantastic close to beaches, restaurants, boat rentals and Sea World, and fun bars. The garage is very tight for two mid sized cars and requires some creative driving to get both in at the same time. I would stay here again.

  We had one of the best vacations ever staying in this Nantucket Style beach house. It's everything you think of in a beach house. The house is in the perfect location in the Mission Beach area. There's easy access to the bay or the beach, great restaurants & coffee shops within walking distance, close to the local grocery store, and close to all the major tourist attractions. We have 3 young children, ages 2-8, who loved the bunkbeads. In the evenings, the neighborhood was quiet and allowed us to enjoy a restfull night's sleep. The chef style kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals when we stayed in. The house also had lots of beach gear for all sorts of activities. One night we had a local service bring us beach chairs, bon fire, and pizza on the bay side beach. The kids loved it. We would love to stay here again.

  We had the best time at this adorable beach house. It is just steps from the bay so we were able to really enjoy walking back and forth between the two. The beach is really close also so we took many wonderful walks along the beach side. Very comfortable, great views, great location and great interactions with the owner.

  This house was great! We didn't have a car, but we didn't need one becuase it was centrally located - we could go to the beach on bay side or on ocean side! Very close to some good resturants and stores. We had a great time! The set up of the house was perfect!

  The sleeping accomodations are not as described. The office is a walk through only to the downstairs bedrooms. There was not any space in the downstairs bedrooms for luggage, and the office could not be used for sleeping at all. The hide -a -bed upstairs was promoted as the best thing ever, but the mattress was missing! We needed to use the air mattress (intended for use in the small walk through office) on the hide a bed in order to accomodate our guests. We also had to move a guest to another property that we rented in the area due to the lack of accomodations in the office. Additionally, the property is advertised as a 3 1/2 baths - note that there are 2 full baths and 2 1/2 baths. Again, not as advertised or expected. The location was fine for us, and the property was clean, but the original agreement differed from the final contract (check in times and what was to be done at check out differed). I hope that this helps future renters! Mission Beach is a fun place to visit.

  Seriously it was such a pleasure to be able to relax in such a well taken care of and beautiful home. Our whole family had the best vacation together we've ever had. The location is perfect, the amenities are perfect and the professionalism of the owner was perfect too. Be looking for our next years booking because it won't be long. We can't wait to do it again next year!

  We had a great time on our vacation and the home we stayed in was excellent. The location was close to the water on both the bayside and to the ocean. Everything we needed for activities was available from bikes to boogey boards. The communication with the owner was good and all of the instructions were easy to follow. I would certainly recommend this home for anyone considering a stay in Mission Bay.
