Cottage by the Bay, in Eastpoint, Florida, offers great views of the Apalachicola Bay / St. George Sound, and is in close proximity to everything that this area of Florida has to offer, especially 'That Place on 98'- voted the best restaurant in Franklin County (by the owner), which is less than 1-minute away (reference link below).

It has broadband, high-speed wired and WIRELESS internet access, Satellite TV (via DirecTV) with a premium package, and parking for your boat.

To the west is Apalachicola (just 10-minutes away), offering lots of shopping, a boat launch, and some of the finest restaurants.

To the east is Carrabelle Beach (15-minutes) and St. James Bay Golf Course (30-minutes).

To the south is St. George Island (5-10 minutes), offering great beaches, state parks, and biking.

    • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage by the Bay. The cottage is cozy and inviting. We especially loved the deck where we could view the gardens and the bay. The perfect place to relax after a day of fishing and beachgoing on St. George Island. We'll definitely be back!

    • The Cottage by the Bay is the perfect place to get away from it all. It was relaxing, very clean and spacious, and had all the amenities of home. The pictures are great, but it is even better in person! The porch overlooks Debbie’s beautiful gardens and is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or have an afternoon cocktail. If you want a lot of bang for your buck, this is the place. We felt like we were in a 5-star hotel. We will certainly be visiting again - hopefully for longer. That Place on 98 was great too. Simple seafood kicked up a notch! Thanks again for the hospitality!

    • If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and relax and allow life to just pass you by, you are at the right place!! We stayed in the Cottage by the Bay this week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The gardens were beautiful, the hospitatility was warm and the cottage was clean and roomy. The food at That Place on 98 was delicious and the caramel custard was magnificient----thanks Debbie. The last thing my husband said to me as we were leaving, was don't lose the phone number to this place, we will be back. Thanks, Ronnie and Shirley Akers

    • we lucked out in finding this place. debbie and mike are extremely nice people, and they have a fabulous cottage for guests. it has a great view of the bay and sits atop a wonderful garden. it is convenient to all the fine beaches in the area, and the fine dining options - especially "that place on 98". we will definitely return.
