I cannot say enough good about staying at this place. Safe, clean, close to all. Toni was the most excellent host - even arranged transportation to and from our cruise ship at the end of our stay in Rome. I would recommend this property and Toni to any and all of my friends.

Our family of 4, complete with a 12 and 15 year old, stayed here in late July/early Aug 2011. Toni arranged for us to be both picked up and dropped off at the airport which worked well and simplified both our arrival and departure. The apartment is centrally located to the main attractions and is also close to a food supermarket which carries anything you might need. We love to walk and were able to walk everywhere including the collesium, Vatican City, Roman Forum, etc. This apartment is roomy and well equipped. Highly recommended! Thanks Toni to you and your team.

Our family of 5 (kids age 15, 13 and 10) stayed in Toni's wonderful apartment for 3 nights in July. We'd agree with the other comments posted - the location is ideal, and the apartment is very clean and well appointed. The pictures are accurate, and there is plenty of sleeping space with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is large, and the living room was a comfortable place to unwind for the entire family. Wifi speed is fine. Couldn't be easier to reach all of Rome's sites from this apartment. Toni is easy to communicate with and was very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport by taxi. Perhaps the best part is San Crispini gelateria just steps away. One caution - there is no drier, washing machine worked fine. Would definitely stay again.

This wonderful apartment gets A+ for location, steps away from the Trevi Fountain and Rome's famous San Crispin gelato and yet in a quiet street. With this location, you can walk anywhere in Rome's historic centre. The pictures represents the apartment very well. My kids loved the loft style in the second bedroom. Wifi worked well again to the kids delight during evening wind down. The owner is accessible by email. A few recommendations are welcome package like area map, some recommended restaurants in various areas for local touch, and credit card option for payment.

We spent 6 days here in May. The apartment was spotless and well furnished. The location was unbelievable. Around the corner from the Trevi fountain..easy walk to Spanish steps ( 10 min) ..to the Pantheon ( 5 min) ..to Piazza Navona (10 min)..the Colosseum and Forum ( 20 -25 min). We only needed public transport for the Vatican and for the catacombs. Supermarket around the corner and fruit stall at the end of the street. No shortage of gelati or pizza shops either. Being in a pedestrian street meant a quiet night's sleep as well. Well done Toni for providing outstanding accommodation as well as assistance to and from the airport.

This apartment was better than we could have imagined. The location is perfect for a Roman holiday. It is situated a short walk from the shopping district, just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain, and two doors down from the best gelati in Rome (Crispino). We were able to walk to all the major sites. The apartment is large with a spacious kitchen. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our two teenage girls. Toni and Giancarlo went out of their way to organise things, including a trip to Pompeii. We have no reservations in recommending this place. What is really nice is how it feels just like a home, not a hotel. We were here in winter and it was nice and warm.

My family and I stayed at this apartment for 9 days in the month of November, Thanksgiving week as we went to visit Rome for my sister-in-law's wedding. We arrived and the apartment was as promised. I had a toddler with us (18 months) and we had a toddler crib/bed and it was as spacious as we needed it to be. 2 days after arriving my husband was very sick. I called Tony the apartment renter and he was able to assist us and provide us with the information and attention my husband needed to get the medical care he needed for the flu! Tony did not have to do it but he answered every one of my calls for this and other minor things and was always pleasant! Thank you Tony! :) The Toscas Family (Diana, George, James and Maria)

After a day of travel we arrived at this property that was described as spacious with an elevator. Inquiries regarding the property prior to rental led us to believe that as a handicapped individual I would be able to use the elevator and have no problems within the spacious apartment. Unfortunately that was not the case. The elevator is very small, the hallway, bedroom doorways and bathroom were not spacious and were not accessible. Unable to bathe for a week, checkout date was welcomed. The bathrooms could also use cleaning and updating. Tony attempted to find other accomodations but none were available. Tony purchased a small chair to use in the elevator but that didn't resolve the mobility problems within the apartment. We have traveled throughout Sicily and Italy over the last two years and this is the first property that we have experienced mobility problems. Despite the owner stating that "we will take care of you" it was not done. When we asked for compensation or discount we were told "no". Other residents of the building were shocked to see our difficulties and apologized for our inconveniences.
Owner response:We would like to respond to Ed & Deborah's comment posted on VRBO "Spoiled Dream Vacation" regarding listing 176064. Originally our correspondence stated that Mr Ed was using a small scooter and was asking for information about the apartment being on one level and if there was an elevator. We omitted last names and e-mail addresses for privacy purposes: Date: Monday, April 19, 2010, 2:57 PM Hello Edward and thank you for your e-mail. The apartment is all on one floor, bedrooms and baths, plus a loft in the second bedroom with one queen size bed. There is an elevator that stops in front of the apartment and there are no stairs at all, but as in many old buildings in Rome, the elevator has been added later inside the main staircase and therefore quite small. Please let me know the size of your scooter and the measurements so I can see if will fit inside. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Grazie, Giancarlo On April 19, 2010 at 8:41 PM Deborah wrote: Hello Giancarlo, Your property sounds like it will fit our needs perfectly. No need to measure the scooter as it comes apart in four small pieces. We would like to book to check in on Saturday, October 2nd and check out on Wednesday, October 13th if available. Please let us know next steps. Best Regards, Ed & Deborah Neither Mr Ed or Mrs Deborah ever mentioned the disability that Ed suffered and never asked for special care or treatment. We would have suggested a different apartment in case we knew. We never misled anybody and always described the apartments in the best way possible and the treatment we offer always go behind our duties as mentioned in other comments, Toni did everything possible to help them out, including going to different stores two days in a row looking for a solution, (he finally found a smaller chair 150 Euros) and having an internal door modified (100 Euros) to have the scooter moving around the apartment and being able to use the bathroom. He also went with Deborah to look for an Hotel with full handicap accessibility but Ed declined the offer since he said he still needed his friends to help him.

We stayed for 4 nights at this apartment. Many parts of it were perfect. 2 blocks from Trevi Fountain and importantly, around the corner so much quieter than if you were on the Trevi Fountain strip which can get quite noisy. 3rd floor made it also quiet. Easy access to shopping, the Metro a couple blocks away, 7 minute walk to Pantheon and 10 minutes to Piazza Navona. Main complaint is the apartment had very dim lighting. The only place in the whole apartment with decent lighting was in the master bedroom and the kitchen, but who wants to stay in Rome at their "luxury" apartment only to read in their bedroom or at the kitchen table because the living area is downright dark. Perhaps great for Romantic candlelight hangout but not relaxing reading in the afternoon or evening. So bring a headlamp or your own light. WIFI worked well with disc they provide to connect. DVD didn't work or at least we could never figure it out. Kitchen was enormous and ideal for large group who want to eat in a lot (which we didn't). Washing machine was out because it broke the "previous week" but no one ever showed up to repair it. Otherwise, it is in a very wonderful neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants and the pictures, although probably artificially well lit, are accurate to the condition of the apartment

Our family of 5 stayed in this beautiful apartment 6/14 through 6/18. It was perfectly located for us as first time Rome visitors. Many sites within walking distance from the apartment and the metro is close for further excursions. A fabulous gelato store just down the street, though we had to try many! The Trevi fountain is just as magical in the early morning when quiet as in the evening with the crowds. We loved, loved, loved our visit to Rome and this apartment made it just that much more enjoyable. The a/c was great!! Thanks Toni

We loved our stay at Toni's apartment. Location was PERFECT. We would definitely stay here again. Toni was a wonderful host. Once he settled us into the place he walked us around Rome and enjoyed dinner with us at his friend Marchello's restaurant. One of our favorite meals of our whole week in Italy! Grazie, Toni! You made our stay so much fun.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 days in April, 2009, and highly recommend this home. The location is perfect - not only a few yards from the Trevi Fountain, but centrally located within walking distance of all the major sites in Rome. The cafe accross the street is perfect for morning latte's, croissants, or panini sandwiches to go. For us, the real extra was the special attention we received from Toni. Well in advance of our arrival, he helped with tips and suggestions. We were very interested in seeing a Roma soccer match while in town, and he went way above the call of duty in helping us navigate the ticket process. Upon our arrival in Rome, he walked us to the Roma soccer store, and pointed out various restaurants, stores, and historical sites in the neighborhood. We loved our stay, and just hope this home is available on our next vacation to Rome!

We stayed at this place for 10 days beginning 10/31- 11/10. This was a wonderful apartment in a perfect location. The apartment was spacious and the rooms were accommodating. There are two bathrooms in the apartment that have 2 functioning showers. I would say that the bathroom that is not connected to the bedroom has the better shower and seems to have more hot water!!!!! There is an elevator in the building (which seems very rare around this area) so it makes bringing up heavy luggage very easy! As I mentioned previously, the location alone made this apartment perfect!!! It is a stones throw away from the Trevi fountain, and is really a very close walking proximity to most of the city.. The ONLY negative I would have to say we experienced was the fact that they internet wasn’t working and we had to go to internet cafes in order to obtain email, and such.. Other then that, the experience was very pleasing and Toni, the gentleman that arranges the apartment is so warm and kind.
