We went in the beginning of October to Duck, NC. I fell in love with the area and this house! My Husband and I went with out 3 and 4 year old, my Father, my In-Laws and 1 year old nephew. We had so much room to enjoy the house was immaculate, easy for the kids to play and spread out. My kids loved the pirate bed room, we loved all the suites. The heated pool was amazing, we spent many afternoons after playing on the beach outside in the water. We had such a wonderful time, I recommend it to everyone and anyone!!!

My husband, 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, 4 grandchildren and I just spent a fabulous week at the Duck King Inn. As soon as we returned home, the grandchildren were asking if we could return to the same house next year! Jay and Bridgett are fantastic and so responsive to questions and needs. The way the house is decorated is so cute and beachy! The proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. could not be better. You can bike or walk to everything you need in the town of Duck. You are justl a short drive to Kitty Hawk and Corolla. We definitely want to return to this house again in the future!!!

Our family numbered 10; all gathered to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. What a fantastic and memorable vacation it was. The kids loved the pool and game room and yet there was plenty of space for an individual to find a 'quite spot' if they wanted to do so. The house is built on higher ground so it has a superb sunrise view. It is located only a short distance from the ocean and town of Duck. The owners were friendly, helpful and efficient in their responses. This vacation home is well-equiped in every way and is all-around a great place to stay. We loved it.

We were in awe of the house and amentities included. The different themed rooms and artwork added so much. The owners were so pleasant to deal with and very fast to respond. The house was about 9 houses from the beach, and we literally were right in the town of duck. We could walk anywhere! The pool was clean, the hot tub was so relaxing. It stormed one night and the next morning the nice pool man came and cleaned the debris from the storm out. We couldn't have asked for better service. PLenty of cooking things provided, towels, and linens. Big, flat screen TVs in EVERY room! I didn't want to leave the house it was so nice. I will definitely stay here again in the future! I have stayed in Duck 6x over the past couple years, and this house by far is the best!

The location was great, a short walk to the beach or a short walk into Duck for some food/shopping/ice cream! The kids loved the pirate themed room they stayed in. Everyone enjoyed the pool and how well maintained everything seemed to be. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay at the OBX, our experience was fantastic!

Property is exactly as described, although interior of home is lovelier than the photos. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. We had more than enough space. Baby equipment was so helpful. Bedrooms are excellent, very good mattresses, bright rooms, sturdy bunks. Kitchen very well equipped and easy to work in. Pool and Hot Tub were clean and excellent temperature, pool company stopped by to check it during our stay. Housekeeping also checked with us day after our check-in, making sure we had everything we needed. Nice touch. Cannot say enough about interactions with Bridgett and Jay. From our first inquiry on, they provided excellent "old fashioned" customer service. We will be giving them our repeat business. Our family vacation at the Duck King Inn offered us the comfort and relaxation that we hoped for. Thank you.

We spend a wonderful week in this house. It is very well maintained, has lots of rooms, and has everything you need and even more. It is close to the beach. We loved most the heated pool and the hot tub. The owner is very well prepared to provide information and she really cares for the house and for you. Everything was in place and prepared when we arrived. We loved it. We strongly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed at this home with our 1 year old son (first vacation with him!). The house was great, and was a short wagon ride to the beach and to downtown! The owner was great on accomodating us and with answering all of my questions and concerns about traveling for the first time with a little one. Even while on vacation, she was quick to answer an email about heating the pool since it become a little cool while we were there. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks Duck King Inn for a memorable family vacation!!

We recently rented at Duck King Inn and had a wonderful vacation! The house has everything you could need for an enjoyable vacation. We had a couple of questions for the owners during our stay and they responded immediately to assist us. The location is wonderful! You can walk to the beach or to shops and restaurants. We have been coming to this house for years and thoroughly enjoy this house. It is in a great location - a very short walk to the beach - and has lots of space. The pool and hot tub are always well kept, as is the rest of the property. The owners are very responsive to inquiries and are clearly invested in making sure their renters have a pleasant experience. If we had the time, we would stay here for several weeks. We would highly reccomend this house!

A few friends and myself stayed here last week, and we had an awesome time. The house is very nicely decorated and set-up. Along with the pool and hot tub, it makes for a great place to stay for a week. We could have stayed longer, it felt like home. It is very close to the beach and all the shopping in Duck, you could go days without using your car, there is plenty to do there, especially if the weather is nice to go swimming or spend time at the beach. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and shops. You can walk just down the road to see the sunset off a walkway, and you can see the sunrise from your own deck on the top, took some great pictures from there. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to have a get-a-way at the beach in the Outer Banks.

WONDERFUL house. First time renting a home in Duck. Very nice location. Brief walk to resturaunts and shops in Duck. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful views, incredible sunset views from top level deck. Everything you could want in a vacation home. Hosts went above expectations to accomodate our stay. Definitely recommend for family vacations (plenty of room and entertainment).

My girls & I stayed at Duck King Inn & truly loved the house. The personal decor & ammenities are a huge plus for enjoyment. The girls loved having their own room & bathroom. The hot tub & pool provided hours of entertainment. The short walk to the beach & to the town of Duck is so convenient. The whole atmosphere of the town will make you love the OBX even more. Yet another wonderful stay at the Duck King Inn. Wonderful location and access to restaurants and shops in Duck. Beautiful home with tons of room and loads of upgrades. Easy walk to the ocean with nice views of the sunset from the deck. Would absolutely recommend! Loved it!

I would recommend the Duck King Inn to anyone!! The house is located in a great location, you can walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed having our coffee every morning on the deck looking at the ocean. Thanks for making our week so fabulous!!

This was our second trip to the Duck King Inn, and it is an ideal house for vacationing with a large group of all ages. The layout of the house allowed for ample space and privacy. The pool and hot tub are great additional features, perfect for those hot summer evenings. We had a great time at the Duck King Inn and plan to return soon!

Very clean home with nice crisp sheets and towels, everything you need is here including a wonderful private pool, fabulous decor (loved the suns), privacy when you need down time, and short walking distance to the beach and to the shops of Duck! We plan to return again next year to Duck King Inn!
