Make your vacation count! Instead of a standard rental, we make our condo available to you as our guest, when you make a donation to approved organizations that feed the hungry, provide medical and/or community services, help to provide clean water, care for refugees, provide medicine and vaccines and provide assistance after natural disasters. These organizations operate in Africa, India, Southeast Asia, the middle East, Mexico, North, Central and South America and other under developed counties.

You write your check directly to the agency, and send it to us for verification. 100% OF THE FUNDS GO TO THE AGENCY. Examples of approved agencies are World Vision, Food for the Hungry, Samaritan's Purse, New Generations International, Baptist Mid-Missions, Partners in Missions, Partners International, Samaritan's Purse, Frontiers International and the Dalit Freedom Network.

This 1,800 square foot TerraSol unit is directly on the beach. You step off of the back patio onto the sand. There are a total of only 18 beachfront units out of 125 in all of the Terrasol complex. Unlike some units in the complex, this one is fully and regularly maintained.

Five-minute walk to the marina, fifteen-minute walk to town. If you prefer natural beauty, walk down the beach to the rocks of Lands' End, or just stay on the porch and watch the surf (and whales, in season).

We have daily maid service (we suggest you provide a $15/day tip to the maid). There is a homeowners' occupancy fee of $15/day for two guests or $20/night for three-four guests, paid directly to TerraSol.

  • Whale watching--whales may be seen from the patio Dec-March. A five minute walk away is and aquarium where you can swim with Dolphin. It is kind of expensive but every one who has done it reports it is well worth the money. All the sunset cruises including the pirate boats go by our front door each night. The real "old" pirate boat used to fire its cannon as it went by, it does not do that any more. Maybe they ran out of shot or powder.

  • My husband and I, along with our two-year-old daughter, spent a week at Casa del Mar over the Christmas holidays and absolutely loved it. Initially, we couldn’t quite wrap our heads around the idea that people would rent out their Mexican condo for a charitable donation but that is, in fact, the case; they are just really good people. The owners have done a great job of maintaining the property and ensuring that it is well-taken care of. The location of this particular condo is phenomenal and one of the very best in, not just Terrasol but, all of Playa Solamar, as it is steps away from both the swimming pool and the beach. The pristine beauty of the beach and rocks also comes with a great deal of privacy as there are no hawkers or time-share reps. on the premises. Along with this privacy comes the convenience of the Talapa Bar (attached to the swimming pool) which serves a great and reasonably-priced breakfast and lunch. Even though Terrasol is a private condo complex, they take good care of their guests and provide services such as transporting luggage to and from your condo, arranging for transportation, etc . . . Finally, this complex is an easy 5 min. walk to the marina where you can find all kinds of food/entertainment or catch a water taxi to Playa Medano. Overall, this condo exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back one day!

  • This condo is FANTASTIC and the views are unbelievable! My younger sister from California (age 49) and I stayed a week and loved every minute of it. I was very hesitant to make the booking because I was afraid the condo was owned by an eccentric Hollywood actor who might change his or her mind, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners are a genuinely charitable older couple who really do have "renters" donate all of the proceeds to a Christian charity. At this condo, you step off of the balcony into the sand, and from the balcony or living room you can watch the waves and see the beautiful Land's End rock formations. We saw dolphins jumping out of the water one evening at sunset! The sunsets are beautiful, and the beach is great for walking on day or night. The pool and excellent poolside food & drinks are right outside the front door to the condo. The marina is less than a 5-minute walk, and downtown is not much further. This is a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it!
