A wonderful letter to read.....
Hi Michele.... I know you generally correspond with Chris.......I wanted to let you know your place is beautiful and far exceeded any of our expectations! We so appreciate your personal touches and can actually feel like we are at home here. The bulding mgr. is excellent and showed us everything. I was surprised to see a towel swan with beautiful flowers on the bed! I would really appreciate your input as to the appropriate gratuity for your cleaning lady who comes twice a week while we are here and also for Eliezer. It would make me feel better as your tenant to do the right thing! Tomorrow, we'll take those humongous shopping bags and do an order! We went down to the beach as soon as we changed....and even after being forewarned not to wear our sunglasses......we did...and we both lost them on the same wave!!! I guess I don;t need to tell you how beautiful the beach is because you know already! Thankyou so much, Noreen

Owner response: Thank you so much I am glad that you enjoyed your stay, love to have you back again!!!
My husband and I were very pleased with this condo. Everything was well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property owner sent a packet filled with information on Zihautanejo and Ixtapa. She was great to work with. The condo was within a short walking distance of town and the beach. We had a great overall experience whether we were down by the pool, at the beach or in town. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Wonderful 20th anniversary
Wonderful 20th anniversary
My wife and I were looking for a nice, clean, quiet retreat on our 20th anniversary and that's what we got with Michele's little one bedroom condo. The partial ocean view is nice from the kitchen and stunning from the infinity pool. You feel like you're five hundred feet about the water and it's going to take twenty minutes to walk to the beach, but it actually takes only about 3 - 5 minutes of walking. The neighbors were all very charming and welcoming (especially as we returned from the beach and joined them in the pool). The grounds are maintained immaculately. The condo has everything you need (with the exception of perishable food items). But, maybe you don't want to stay in for dinner, downtown is about a 20 minute walk, a $0.50 bus ride away (comes every 15 minutes), or cabs are a phone call away at the guard house. Here, you can find a vast variety of excellent restaurants and a ton of shops. Oh yeah, the beaches also have wonderful restaurants (we became partial to Patty's). I will definitely want to stay here again when we head back down this way and recommend it to my family and friends for their future vacations. This town and condo are as advertised and one hell of a bargain. PS. Michele is also very fun to talk to. :)

Beautiful views from pool!
Beautiful views from pool!
My sister and I stayed in this condo for 10 days. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Everything we needed was provided. There's a partial view of the ocean from the window and there's a beautiful view of the ocean from the pool area. The only down side was the long/steep walk from the beach every day, but it was good exercise and we were rewarded with a jump in the pool at the end! We would definitely stay here again.

Quaint & Cozy Spot for a Mexican Siesta with Views of the Sunset
Quaint & Cozy Spot for a Mexican Siesta with Views of the Sunset
Michelle's place at La Casa Que Ve Al Mar was the ideal for our week-long Mexican siesta. This unit is very cozy and quiet. The crashing waves can be heard throughout the night. We cooked many meals in and this place had every utensil and appliance needed to make that happen. The unit was clean. Eliezer was attentive and helpful. The "regulars" who own other units are all extremely friendly and willing to share secrets of the town and the surrounding area. This is in a perfect location. Playa La Ropa is a quiet, chill area of Zihua. Although it is not a dense part of the city there is still a fair amount of restaurants within walking distance on the main road and on the beach, just a five minute walk away. It is worth it to make the walk to Playa Las Gatas. And the city center is a 5 minute taxi ride (40 pesos) from the condo. The infinity pools at La Casa Que Ve Al Mar offer the greatest view in the bay - facing sunset each evening. A few times we read books, sipped drinks (in plastic cups, of course), and went swimming til after the sun set. You could even see the sun set from the kitchen in the unit. The only downside during our stay was that the hot water in the shower didn't last too long. But to some that may not be such a big deal. Michelle is a friendly and responsive owner/host. She has a beautiful, quaint place that will make a warm and relaxing home for your stay in Zihua! Our stay was fun and very memorable.

Owner response: Thank you so much Erin, I love Zihua and always will.
My wife and I stayed here in June of 2009 and weren't really sure what to expect never having visited Zihua. We'll make it real simple......STAY HERE! Michelle was very, very easy to work with (sorry about the late night phone call Michelle because we lost our condo key. Small piece of advice, keep your keys on you at all times!!!!) as she was very accommodating giving us literally a "packet" of what to do, where to go to eat, places not to miss and even how much to expect to spend on the local transportation. The grounds are beautiful. A true tropical setting. The unit has everything you need, minus the drinks of course, which can be refilled at the little market within a two minute walk down the street :). Playa la ropa beach is an easy walk down the hill and is strikingly gorgeous. Literally something off of the travel channels best beaches. Playa las gatas is the beach that can be accessed only by boat in town which is where it resembles the "corona commercials" you see on television........we're not joking..........it's purely the most stunning blue and teal water we've ever seen and swam in. Zihua is amazing and we will definitely be coming back very soon. Thank you so much Michelle for allowing us to stay in your inviting and very comfortable home.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this condo in August, and I have nothing but positive things to say. I have stayed in the very expensive Villa del Sol (Now the Tides) before, and I would recommend this place over that hotel any day. Michele was absolutely great to work with, and got back to me within a day every time I had a question. She also sent a huge packet of information about the condo and Zihuatanejo which was very helpful. La Casa Que Ve Al Mar complex is extremely quiet, and at times it seemed as though we were the only people staying there. Both of the infinity pools were beautiful and the view of the bay was one of the best you could get. Staff at the complex were very helpful and kind. Michelle's condo is the perfect size for two, and is beautifully decorated. Her condo is supplied with everything you would need, including umbrellas, hats, bug replant, a ton of towels and her son even left us some of his unopened food and beer! The huge windows in the kitchen let enough light and fresh air in, and I loved to keep them open well into the night. Everyday we would go down to La Ropa beach, which is only about a 5 minute walk away. This is my favorite beach of all time! There are a ton of places that will let you use their palapas with the purchase of lunch or drinks. La Ropa beach has a ton of activities including jet skiing, parasailing, banana boating and sailing. They are all reasonably priced and very fun! Our trip was perfect, with many thanks to Michele and her condo and I can't wait to go back. A tip for the walk back up to the condo: Use the stairs to the left of the driveway!

I stayed at Michele's condo at Las Casa Que Ve Al Mar in November 2009. It was wonderful! The bed was very comfortable and the location of the unit perfect. The infinity pools were refreshing after a day full of adventures. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the condo May 24-29 of 2009 during low season. We arrived on a sunday and headed straight to the Casa we were greeted by Elizer who was very helpful and spoke english. There was also a beautiful flower arrangement upon arriving. The condo is exactly like the pictures and the pool area and everything else is manicured to a T. We headed straight to the beach which was an easy walk. On the way back to the condo it was a little more difficult and it may be hard for someone with leg problems. You can always take a taxi for about 30 pesos if not less. A few of the places we ate at were, La Perla, Casa Marimar, Puesta del Sol and the best place was La Casa Cafe. I definately recommend hiking to Las Gatas beach and going to 5 de mayo street to get some beautiful decorations. Also be sure to visit the market. The place was beautiful and the condo was perfect for us. The vonage phone and tv were very helpful and nice to come home to after a very loooong day at the beach. I would recommend this condo to everyone. I was sad at first about not getting something directly on the beach but after being there this condo was perfect and the next time we go I will be renting here again.

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: Hello my name is Michele and I love Zihuatanejo, Mexico. I came down here in October of 2006 and fell in love with the town, people, the view of the ocean, the waves crashing and great food, and I purchased the condo right away. It was a fast sale. I am still learning my way around Zihua, but I have a great time learning. I have met some of the nicest people and great friends. My true love is The Humane Society of Zihuantanejo, it is kept very clean and the spay and neuter clinics are really helping out, the owner Natalia is a loving and caring person and takes great care of the animals.
Why the Owner Chose Zihuatanejo:
You can go to any vacation place in the world and have good food and an abundance of tourists or chain stores and restaurants, when you come to Zihuatanejo you come for the true Mexican way of life, you live in their world, you see the beauty and family love, and you learn their traditions, which I must say is so much better than just a vacation. It is something that you will never forget, and you will tell your friends about your experience.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
La Casa Que Ve Al Mar is a very nice place to stay and the views of La Ropa Beach are outstanding. The complex itself is only 39 units, half are rentals and the other half are not, so you are not fighting for space. And the owners are all nice people and know so much about Zihuatanejo any information you want to know about they will not hesitate to fill you in, have a notebook ready. The Management and Security are outstanding.
