Our beautiful home is spacious (over 5000 sq ft) warm, comfortable, informal and decorated with eclectic art from our travels around the world. It is a flexible home and will accommodate a few people without seeming overwhelming (my husband and I live here alone)- we had a couple and their son live here last summer and the summer before a 15 member family from Ireland coming for their son's wedding who found it quite spacious. Offices can easily be turned into bedrooms. Sleeping lofts in several rooms delight children as sleeping and playing spaces. Parks/playing fields and playgrounds are in walking distance. Swamp cooler keeps our home airy and cooler in warmer temperatures.
The main floor has a comfortable sitting area with fireplace, table for art and an elliptical machine; a large dining room with free form table seats eight. The large airy kitchen has a counter and a comfy corner with a couch and chair and leads to the spacious deck with hot tub over looking the lake. This floor also has a 15 x 30 living room for yoga, dance, music and hanging out - there is also an extra queen size bed here. Laundry and full bath completes this level.
The basement level has a large 15 x 30 suite with sitting area; work station and sleeping area and walk out trench doors to the spacious back yard.
The top floor has the spacious master suite with many windows and large views of the lake, as well as a comfortable and spacious TV room. Large bathroom and sauna complete this level.
There is a separate entrance private studio apt with its own 3/4 bath that can be added to the rental at some extra cost.
We are ideally looking for one long rental but are open to shorter rental period (ONE WEEK MINIMUM).
