Things to do, to the left a 2 minute walk is the Hilton Hawaiian Village and lagoon where "Baywatch" was filmed. The Hilton provides fabulous Friday night fireworks with a free Hula show every week! As you pass the Hilton you'll find Fort DeRussy, then the historic Royal Hawaiian Hotel, where you can relax with a cool drink and listen to traditional Hawaiian music. After this walk if your feet are to tired to travel, hop on the open air "Wiki Wiki Bus" and it will take you to all the hot spots. Next day go the other direction walk to your right and in 5 minutes, you'll arrive at Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island, jog or tennis anyone? Across from the park is the World-renowned Ala Moana Shopping Center, with the nations largest Nordstrom's to shop till you drop. But of course, Waikiki is a world class destination for fine dining and night life, it doesn't get any better than this to make memories!

Why the Owner Chose Ilikai Marina
My Mother Marge MacDowall purchased this condo in 1993, while being employed as this buildings property manager for 20 years. Marge fell in love with this studio, being on the 13TH floor gives it privacy and the most incredible views. Together we remodeled it in 2008 creating the most beautiful studio in this building, giving it a young hip edge, making it perfect for an island get away. Being an Art/Design consultant, I have placed in this condo some amazing original pieces I'm very proud of. I hope you enjoy your stay in this special slice of PARADISE!

I stayed at this condo in March/April 2010. This was my first time staying in VRBO in Hawaii. Janna and Marge were absolutely amazing hosts! She was pleasant to deal with, and always accessible. Everything was there in the unit that we needed, and then some! Thanks for those little extra touches! Loved the bamboo flipflops, the beach accessories, and having everything we needed in the kitchen.The location has easy access to bus, shopping and downtown Waikiki. The fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village is worth seeing! Our favorite part was being able to walk all along the shores of Waikiki and stop in and have a cold drink & great food at the many clubs & restaurants right on the beachfront. I highly recommend this host to anyone wanting the ultimate vacation in Waikiki! Until the next time, aloha from Lisa & Janet.

I had to attend a 3 day conference in November and this condo was not only comfortable but within walking distance of Ala Moana shopping center and the Convention Center. Janna was very accommodating and helped me with last minute changes. I highly recommend this rental and its owners and would love to stay again.

The condo was clean and comfortable, close to the beach and to shopping, and the customer service related to it was top-notch. We will definitely go back when we are in Waikiki and I would highly recommend it. It was very reasonably priced, clean, and convenient, plus it was furnished and the restaurants nearby were delightful.

From the convenient location, to all the unexpected amenities ( beach towels and chairs, full kitchen and supplies , comfortable bed, etc) this cool condo was perfect ! I am a returning Kamaaina and the price and the gracious owner, made this a win, win for me. I look forward to hopefully staying here again on my next visit to the Islands.

Thanks Bobber for having such a nice unit for us to stay in while visiting Oahu. It was close to everything just as you had said. When we come back to the Island we know where to stay. You will also be recomended to our family and friends who are traveling to Hawaii. Also Melinda we would like to thank you for all of your tips on places to visit and where to find all of the good places to eat. (Duke's is #1 for steaks & seafood) and only a 5-minute walk from the condo.

I stayed at Janna's condo for a week in March 2010 and had an extremely pleasant experience. The condo is close to the beach, the Ala Moana shopping center, and multiple convenience stores. Janna has thoughtfully included everything you will need during your stay in Waikiki except for your bathing suit of course. The next time I'm in Waikiki, I know where I'll be staying...

Our family of three stayed in this condo last month, and were extremely comfortable. Our 5-year old daughter especially enjoyed playing in the recently renovated lagoon adjacent to the building. The property is very conveniently located, with efficient driving out of the west end of Waikiki.

This studio condo is very comfortable and spacious. The location is fantastic. It is a very short walk to the beach and all that Waikiki has to offer. Having a kitchen with everything you need is a plus. If you are looking for a place to stay that won't break your wallet and with easy access to the Waikiki night life, shopping and the beach, this is absolutely the place.

Fabulous...Exactly as pictured and Janna and Marge are delightful hosts. Close enough to the hustle and bustle. Accessible to Waikiki beach by trolley, bus or a refreshing walk. The fireworks display at the Hilton Hawaii village next door was fantastic. The full kitchen was well appointed and provided the option of eating out or in. I will be back, and will recommend this studio to anyone I know coming to Waikiki.
