From our 9-year-old son Nicolas: "Visit Rio Nido by Guerneville, California. Rio Nido is a quiet village right near the Russian River. It is filled with beautiful hills and towering redwood trees. There are also a lot of events and get-togethers with everyone in Rio Nido, such as community barbecues, pancake breakfasts, and marshmallow roasts. Another good thing is that a pool is nearby and so is the River, so you can take a swim in either one of them. So if you need a vacation, try Rio Nido!"
From parents and friends: "A wonderful getaway in a unique area, laden with history and personality, yet supremely quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. This place has it all: you can go hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, or sit back, relax, and enjoy the serenity of the majestic redwood trees." A nice vacation rental on the Russian River.

Why the Owner Chose Guerneville
Rio Nido provides an excellent balance between privacy and public amenities. It is a quiet place shielded from the bustling sounds of downtown Guerneville and nearby Highway 116, amidst the hills and is a totally relaxing place in its own right, village style.

Excellent location with a very classy interior. Everything inside was clean and very well maintained. There were a plethora of magazines and games and DVDs. The bathrooms were spotless and well stocked. Kitchen was well organized. We had a wonderful stay. From a location perspective, it was very near Guerneville as well as near some of the other places we visited. We took evening walks around the neighborhood - very quiet and tree lined paths helped to convey an atmosphere of serenity. Will definitely come back.

My wife, daughter and I stayed for the weekend of April 23 and 24th for my birthday. I had a wonderful time relaxing, exploring the area, cooking in a very well designed and stocked kitchen. The house is well done and well docorated. We loved the Redwood trees that grow around the house. The house is perfectly situated between Monte Rio and Healdsburg. We will be back soon! Beautiful house in a funky resort neighborhood! Very quiet, Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for entertaining in open concept kitchen/dining/living area. Close to major route, but tucked away in redwoods. Can get to ocean or Napa Valley within an hour; San Fransico in two hours. Great redwood forest state park right up the street. Very reasonably priced for level of accommodations.

This house TRULY sleeps 6. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the six of us fit very comfortably! Our group loves to cook and we spent a lot of time in the kitchen. We love the large wooden table that allows for cooking and socializing at the same time. The hot tub is a joy in the morning or evening, as it is surrounded by redwoods. What a beautiful setting for a beautiful house. We will see you again Peaceful Paradise!

We stayed at Peaceful Paradise with a group of friends and had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and spacious. We cooked delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and had an unforgettable time. The house is surrounded by redwoods, and we spent a great deal of time in the hot tub enjoying ourselves and looking up at them. Peaceful Paradise is a short drive from vineyards and the coast. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a group of friends or a family, and intend to return myself!

We only had a short stay with 2 adults and two children. This place is great! A bathroom for every bedroom, great light and open spaces, and a very quiet street/neighborhood. The kitchen is great and well appointed. All the appliances (incl Gas BBQ) work great and are in excellent condition and it has a hot tub out back as well! Radiant heat so there was simply no dust anywhere in the house. Great for folks with allergies (or anyone, really). Addresses and info in the "Renter's Binder" were accurate and helpful. It feels much more like a "home" than a "rental". All the usual "cheap tricks" usually found in rentals are absent from this property. We will definitely be back!

WineEnthusiast Mesa,AZ, USA Review Submitted: March 16, 2010 Date of Stay: March 2010 Two of my brothers and their wives, my wife and I stayed at this property in March 2010. We were all impressed by the many amenities this property has to offer. The place was clean and neat and had all the little things necessary to prepare a meal. The location was excellent and was quiet in amongst the redwoods. We used the the pellet burning stove to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the evenings. The wives took advantage of the hot tube to relax and talk. It was an enjoyable experience and we look forward to staying there again in the future. I would recommend this property to anyone.
