From our 9 year old son Nicolas: "Visit Rio Nido by Guerneville, California. Rio Nido is a quiet village right near the Russian River. It is filled with beautiful hills and towering redwood trees. There are also a lot of events and get-togethers with everyone in Rio Nido such as community barbecues, pancake breakfasts, marshmallow roasts, and a lot of others. Another good thing is that a pool is nearby and so is the river, so you can take a swim in either one of those. So if you need a vacation, try Rio Nido!"
