We’ve been visiting the Big Island for years and have finally made our second home at Hali'i Kai. We have chosen our place carefully with relaxation and convenience in mind. Our unit is centrally located near the Ocean Club, tennis and basketball courts, and the Coconut Grove, where you can enjoy a BBQ picnic surrounded by palm trees or melt your stresses away swaying in a hammock. Our unit is on the ground floor where the lanai opens out to a lush, tropical setting. You will also find that we took great pride in decorating our home with local art and beautifully appointed furnishings with a Hawaiian flare. What else…each room offers a large, wall-mounted LCD/TV and wireless internet access just in case you’d like to stay connected with the rest of the world.

Surely you will spend endless hours searching for the perfect villa and best value for your vacation...we spent years waiting for Halii Kai to be developed and finally made it our second home. It was worth the wait!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the pampering resort feel of the community, yet the comfort of our cozy home. We carefully chose the furnishing to complement the island feel...natural, relaxed, and inviting. Of course, we knew we would still need to stay connected to the rest of the world so LCD TV's are mounted in each room and WiFi is readily available. We absolutely LOVE our location within the community! Our kids love to be able to walk out of our lanai and feel the grass on their feet. We're in close proximity to all of the amenities (Ocean Club, Coconut Grove, tennis and basketball court) of Halii Kai since we are in building 18. Someday we hope to retire there!

The owners of this property are so very helpful and kind. They respond ASAP when you contact them. The condo was clean, well furnished with a beautful, peaceful view. You can take a short walk to the Hilton Waikoloa if you want eveing entertainment or different dining options, their breakfast buffet is wonderful. The restaurant and bar on property close at 6:30 which is fairly early for vactioners. The people at the front desk couldn't be nicer. The pictures showing the property are very accurate and up to date. They have many items in the condo for you to use. Would tell everyone to stay here for a great vacation. This is our 15th visit to the islands and this was one of the nicest places to stay so far.

Our family was very fortunate to stay at this beautiful ohana home in December 2010. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Beds very very comfortable. Sheets, towels, almost new with no stains and holes. Plenty available. Outside seating comfortable with a nice view. Only downside was no barbecue on lanai but several available in the coconut grove a short walk down the path. Very nice barbecues in coconut grove. Excellent location if you like to play tennis or a family game of horse/basketball. Truly a blessing that we were able to stay here. The owners are very kind and helpful when planning your vacation. Many mahalos.

We just returned from our stay at Spencer & June's residence. The overall rental process was painless & they were prompt in their replies & handling of our rental. They provided plenty of information on the unit as well as the area we were staying. The condo itself was fabulous. Spencer & June have gone out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable & pleasant. The unit features stainless steel appliances, granite counters, & all the kitchen basics from utensils to tupperware. The unit also comes with Wifi, & a flat screen with cable in each room (should anyone want to watch something else!) Additionally, it has a beautiful patio with an adjacent lawn & nearby tennis & basketball courts (of which rackets & balls are provided in the unit!!). Anyway you look at this unit, you won't be disappointed. We stayed with our 2 year old & she rested peacefully & loved the open spaces the unit provided. Look no further if you want a great stay with the true Hawaiian spirit....We highly recommend this place!!

I highly recommend this unit. Hali'i Kai is 10/10 hot spot and I will keep recommending this unit to friends because it worked so well for our family of 5. Master bedroom is gorgeous with comfy inviting bed. 2nd bedroom was enjoyed by my two boys. My daughter got the foldout bed, which was fine, as she got a TV all to herself also! The decor is very pleasing and it was a very quiet unit, never a problem. We loved the fact two top beaches are a quick 10 min. drive from our unit. Also, being able to BBQ each night by the beautiful pool, as the sun set, while either laying on a lily pad bed hovering above the water, or swimming in the pool/jacuzzi area was paradise. Food/drink at poolside is yummy and priced reasonably. The owners were great to work with. Staff was friendly.

After spending a week at this lovely property in Hali'i Kai, we came home rested and relaxed. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished, located next to the tennis courts and within walking distance to the Ocean Club, which was the highlight of our stay. We spent each evening down at the Ocean Club watching the gorgeous sunsets. The pool and jacuzzi where great and the staff there very friendly and helpful. The property is also located near lots of shops, restaurants, and several great beaches including A Bay. The owners provided lots of helpful information and were wonderful to work with. We hope to find time to stay here again! Aloha, J&K!
