Beautiful home only 5 minutes to charming downtown Highlands. Situated at an elevation of 4200’ on a beautiful wooded hillside overlooking three lakes and the mountains. Mountain laurels abound this private woodland neighborhood. Enjoy the tranquility of the stocked lakes for fishing & kayaking, or play tennis on the private community court and picnic gazebo for guest adjoining our cottage.
We are situated conveniently among three Golf & Country Clubs, one golf course available for guest use on a day basis. Hike the fabulous Whiteside Mountain trail or the numerous waterfalls just minutes away. Drive to the quaint town of Cashiers, just seven minutes away.
The home has three bedrooms with three private baths. Two spacious master suites. First with king bed and open to deck, second with two queens and adjoining den, wheelchair accessible, both masters with walk in showers and custom vanities. Third bedroom with king bed and bath. All bedrooms have views of lakes and mountains. Gourmet kitchen with custom cherry cabinets, granite countertops, island bar, Bosch gas cook top, all new upper end stainless appliances.
Relax in the cozy den with large screen flat panel television, custom wrought iron wet bar, beautiful antique wood burning stove and hardwood cherry floors. This area can provide a separate area for a second family.
Fabulous views are for the taking from most rooms with wall to wall glass in living, dining and kitchen areas with views of sunrise to sunset over the lake and mountains. Walk out on 70 feet of wrap around decks, with large lower deck with gas cookout area and hot-tub. Fill the bird feeders and see the vast variety of birds traveling through our mountain community. Canada Geese sound the sunrise call as they glide into the early morning calm of the lakes.
The living room has a vaulted ceiling with redwood walls and a massive 18’ granite fireplace with remote control gas logs, wonderful for those chilly mornings & evenings. Gorgeous furnishings, custom wrought ironwork, marvelous antiques, Persian rugs, original paintings and artwork abound.
Enjoy one level throughout home. Level entry from parking area make it easy for all to have the benefit of mountain living. There is plentiful parking for four vehicles.
High-speed wireless internet and unlimited free long distance telephone service and cable television make it easier to keep up the necessities of your business while enjoying the Highlands.
