This luxury townhome on the Gulf of Mexico (Indigo Reef Marina Homes) is like new and just completed in September, 2006. This resort is set back and secluded from all the hustle and bustle so you can sit back and relax in peace. From the moment you pull up to the gate of this secluded property the views are jaw-dropping. The private winding road leading to the resort is beautifully landscaped and (personally speaking) gives me butterflies in my stomach and lets me know that I'm in paradise. When you walk in the front door of this unit you get that aaah affect...as you enter you look right at the water. From the living room on occasion you'll be able to spot a mother manatee with her baby or other marine life. This spacious 1,750 square foot townhome will comfortably accommodate 6 people with it's King size bed in the master suite, a Queen size bed in the second bedroom and two single beds in the 3rd bedroom. The master bedroom has a large master bathroom with 2 sinks and separate tub and shower. The view from the master patio is amazing as you look out over the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The two spare bedrooms share a full bathroom right outside the door along with the washer and dryer being conveniently located on the second floor.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The eating area is spacious and has a table that comfortably seats 6.
The landscaping on this property is breathtaking. If you're a fisherman you'll enjoy the convenience of having your boat right out the door of this unit. The boat slip accommodates boats up to 35 feet and has water and electric hookup right there. There is a cleaning station right by the slip to clean your catch. Another big bonus for fishermen is access to free ice from the commercial ice maker that is conveniently located next to the dock master's office. We're on the Gulf of Mexico and within 5-10 min. by boat you're in the Atlantic Ocean. Don't have a boat....there are many rentals available....they're just a phone call away. Don't want to rent a boat...there are many charters available in the area. There are too many local conveniences to list. A few of our favorite important conveniences located nearby are a post office, Walgreens, grocery store, Marathon airport, beautiful oceanfront dining, bait and tackle shop, and beautiful Sombrero Beach. Marathon is known as the heart of the Florida Keys. We are centrally located to everything the Keys have to offer.

Indigo Reef is a quiet place off the main road. It has a nice pool and dock area if you have a boat or want to rent one. It is a good "home base" for the area. Stayed here 5 nights. We went to Bahia Honda National park 2 different days...one for a snorkel trip and the other to hang on the natural beach. There is a lot of seaweed in the keys so it's different than what i think most people think of as a beach. We liked it. you can snorkel off the beach at Sombero park or at Bahia Honda. My boys chartered a boat and went fishing with Howard kelly - message me if you want his information. he was great! We went to hawks cay and did the paddleboards & kayaks. Glad we didnt stay there..a little too commerical for my liking. Lots to do there but didn't seem as relaxing as here. This place lets you get a way from it all. you can always go to the action - hard to get away from it. This is a very nice place for a vacation!
