  This was our first time renting a condo in Naples using VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) and it ended up being a very positive experience. My husband and I spent two glorious weeks in this beautiful condo on Gulf Shore Drive in Vanderbilt Beach. Perfect location --- near a wide variety of restaurants, movies, The Philharmonic Center for the Arts, Sanibel Island, downtown Naples, the Holocaust Museum, Wiggins State Park, shopping, sightseeing, etc. The unit looked exactly as it did online. The condo was very clean, with many updates in the kitchen and elsewhere, and was very comfortably furnished. Especially enjoyed the large king size bed with its pillow-top mattress. And thoroughly enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens beat the Denver Broncos on the large flat screen TV!! Our most favorite thing was eating and relaxing on the large screened-in porch (aka, the lanai). If you open the windows and doors on both sides of the unit, you get a delightful breeze blowing through the condo from the bay side through to the gulf side. It was luscious! The neighborhood was quiet, the building and property were secure and both the condo owner and the property manager were available when needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well maintained unit that rents by the week. Would definitely recommend the condo to family and friends. We hope to return in the future.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

  Spent 1 week in this superb condo - wish it could have been longer. The situation with the beach over the road was great as was the well-equipped, clean apartment with good facilities. The directions and information supplied by the owner worked like clockwork. Hope to return one day soon.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  a lovely place that lives up to its posting and the many good comments and useful photos on VRBO. The weather in early December was so nice and with the cross breeze through the condo, the screened in balcony was a great place to relax. I did appreciate the availability of back up supplies (paper towels, liquid soap, laundry detergent, etc.) so there was no need to buy such products during my visit as well as a well equipped, clean kitchen, large flat-screen TVs, and the in-unit washer/dryer. Only about 1 mile from a host of stores and shopping centers including WalMart, Publix, and Starbucks. Multiple beach access points to a clean, white sand beach. Gulf Shore Drive was also a nice place to go for long walks during the day.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Great location & the condo was exactly as described - well equipped with all new appliances, well furnished, good quality linens & beach chairs etc. Swimming pool alongside inland waterway private access to beach just across road. Scott provided good information & support.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

  This is our 2nd year renting this condo, We absolutely love staying here, The condo was spotless when we arrived and the improvements have made our stay even more enjoyable. The photos online are an accurate reflection of this condo, Beach access is across the street and is in a great location to restaurants etc. The grounds are also well maintained and the pool area is very clean. Scott is just a pohone call away and is always availble to answer questions.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Owner response: Susan - I do enjoy remodeling the condo and the next time you come it will be even nicer. We plan on redo the floors and bathrooms so its completely up todate like a new condo. Most other condos are not remodeled so its nice to see you appreciate its great condition. I hope you enjoy the new 44" TV Plasma and Comcast/HD. The Beach Access and Large heated Pool do make this building great.   I am going to review this first, in all fairness, with the positive attributes of the condo. It is pretty clean. The building is very well maintained. The pool is nice. There are chairs and beach towels and even a cooler to take lunch or treats to the beach. The walk to the water is very close and the beach is gorgeous. The Wiggins State Park is also stone's throw away and the area is safe and the roads well maintained. Other than the fact that you could grow a real plant in the dust on some of the fake greenery in the condo, it was clean and odor free. The climate was very easy to control. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and there is plenty of room for two adults and two children. The"den", however, was the joke. It is not a room. It has no doors, no closets and is basically a pass through breakfast area from the kitchen to a breakfast nook-type enclosure. It does not afford any privacy whatsoever. The pull out bed is not comfortable at all. However, there were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well-equipped and the building was secure. Many positives for those needing only the two bedrooms. You will love the screened in patio, if the weather is warm enough for you to use. The owner was not as helpful as I would have liked, as he did not answer the phone on the day we checked in with some concerns. Since he requested that we call when we got into the condo and we did...three times...we were rather put out he did not return our calls. He did, however, come in person the next day to make sure all was well. Since there are not many places which rent by the week in this area, according to Scott, this might be one of your best bets. The location is great. Have a nice vacation.

It great to have a short walk to the beach and relax around the pool with enough chairs etc. thanks for saying the condo was clean and yes the plastic plants do collect dust -it will be cleaned. I do always try to meet new people the next day after arrival just to make sure all goes well. The condo is best for 4 people and after 11 years of renting we almost always have 4 people and the den is just an extra area used as an office mostly. Thanks again.

  Hi Scott - We just wanted to thank you for everything this past week. Your rental home is beautiful and we had such a nice time on our vacation. It's so nice to be in a home with more of the comforts of a home rather than a hotel. And everything that your home had to offer was just perfect for us. From the comforts inside, to the pool, view of the gulf of mexico - It was just perfect. Thanks again! I will definitely keep your contact information for the next time we get down to Naples.

  Your recent improvements made your condo look like brand new. Thanks for adding new appliances in the kitchen and new furniture. Each year we use the condo it has been very confortable, but now its much better. We do suggest our place to anyone who wants a condo on the beach with great views. Randy
