1 King, 2 singles and 1 Queen sofa/foldout in the Den - sleeps 6 total. All the furniture is new and the condo has been remodeled with new applicances, beds/linen,TV's,Stereo, Floors and walls painted. Beautiful views in the morning over the Vanderbilt bay and evening views over the Vanderbilt beach and Gulf of Mexico from our big Lania. Great views at night over the other condo's and bay and Vanderbilt beach. The best is that is very easy walking 70 yards to vanderbilt beach and watch the sunsets or sun yourselves during the day - no hassels at all just relax!! NO BIG SCHEDULES - JUST GET UP AND GO TO THE BEACH.
We have all the Beach Chairs, Towels, Umbrella's available to take to beach. Every day you should, plan your day around sunsets, because the view is great over the vanderbilt beach and gulf of mexico. Our building is the newest on vanderbilt beach and has the best quality construction so its quiet and the most space around the large heated pool. The vanderbilt bay is viewed from the condo and the pool or grass hut for BBQ at night.
Only a few hundred yards to the south you'll find world-class hotels including, the La PLaya and the Ritz Carlton. We're also bounded by two famous beaches to the north, the Delnor-Wiggins Pass (State Park), as well as the Clam Pass Park to the south.
Vanderbilt Landings is a gated community which also includes a secured lobby. We have a private beach access, and are only 75 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Our heated, 60-foot swimming pool(large) is near the back bay. You can see the dolphins and manatees from the pool, or the grass hut (with picnic tables)which is great for an afternoon barbecue while you watch the boats go by.
This apartment offers 1,600 square feet of living space, including two bedrooms, a den, two bathrooms, and a large screened-in lanai. The master bedroom has a king-size bed (which also looks over the gulf of mexico), a walk-in closet, and a double sink.
The second bedroom has two twin beds, a TV, and a full bathroom. The condo also offers a full washer and dryer, and a completely filled kitchen which is perfect for even the most talented chef.
The building was built 1993; but I redecorated/refurnished it in 2010. There is new top quality, carpeting in the bedrooms, and a new king-size (pillow-top) bed and bedding. Amenities include a new, large TV, a CD stereo, linens, and cooking pots/pans etc.
All you have to do is show up and enjoy this great city and the beach. I think I have included most everything you'll need.
Naples enjoys very temperate weather year-round, with winter temperatures consistently five degrees higher than in central Florida -- and often ten degrees higher than in northern Florida. Temperatures average in the 70's and low 80's in the winter months. The summer season, at this most highly sought-after international vacation destination, has equally desirable weather with highs in the 80's to low 90's, and is cooled by gentle Gulf breezes.
This is my second home, and I plan to keep it in the same quality and condition. Many other homes that you may look at do not have the views that are advertised, and are filled with K-Mart-quality furniture.
It costs a little more to live on the beach, but once you have had the experience, you'll understand why everybody wants the beach environment. It's unbelieveable!

Why the Owner Chose Vanderbilt Landings
Vanderbilt Beach is the best part of Naples and this city is the best location in Florida. I researched other cities in Florida and Naples was a newly created city with new infrastructure which creates easy movement around the city. We have the most resturants and golf courses while still being a small town. Naples has attracted better people who want these things and all price ranges of homes can still take addvantage of theses benefits. Warm during the winter with a cool breeze off the Gulf of Mexico with newer buildings everywhere. This is the best city in America.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo is the newest building on Vanderbilt beach who can rent by the week(The timeshare can rent weekly, but its really old and small units). When I purchased this condo I asked others why they purchased here: They said "quiet building because of its thick walls, great views over the Gulf, largest pool, and alot of space around the building" to enjoy BBQ/fishing/tennis and a short walk (75 yards) to the beach with a Private Beach Access. Gated Security and building security with 4 units per floor. Our unit is on the 6ths level for great views.
One mile of complete privacy on the beach and you can rent canoes etc., or just buy refreshments while you are on the beach. Bathrooms available. When at the park/beach you feel like you are complet

I have been operating rental/vacation properties for myself in Naples for 12 years, so everybody has helped me organize the rental process to add what ever they wanted to the condo/house. I purchased a condo and then a house, in the best location on Vanderbilt beach with heated pools and all the beach chairs/coolers etc. needed to keep everybody happy and return next year. Before that I have been in real estate brokerage for 30+ years and for 12 years in naples, so I can help renters buy a house. Buying in the right location is the most important decision.

Comfortable for Four, Not Six

I am going to review this first, in all fairness, with the positive attributes of the condo. It is pretty clean. The building is very well maintained. The pool is nice. There are chairs and beach towels and even a cooler to take lunch or treats to the beach. The walk to the water is very close and the beach is gorgeous. The Wiggins State Park is also stone's throw away and the area is safe and the roads well maintained. Other than the fact that you could grow a real plant in the dust on some of the fake greenery in the condo, it was clean and odor free. The climate was very easy to control. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and there is plenty of room for two adults and two children. The"den", however, was the joke. It is not a room. It has no doors, no closets and is basically a pass through breakfast area from the kitchen to a breakfast nook-type enclosure. It does not afford any privacy whatsoever. The pull out bed is not comfortable at all. However, there were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well-equipped and the building was secure. Many positives for those needing only the two bedrooms. You will love the screened in patio, if the weather is warm enough for you to use. The owner was not as helpful as I would have liked, as he did not answer the phone on the day we checked in with some concerns. Since he requested that we call when we got into the condo and we did...three times...we were rather put out he did not return our calls. He did, however, come in person the next day to make sure all was well. Since there are not many places which rent by the week in this area, according to Scott, this might be one of your best bets. The location is great. Have a nice vacation.

It great to have a short walk to the beach and relax around the pool with enough chairs etc. thanks for saying the condo was clean and yes the plastic plants do collect dust -it will be cleaned. I do always try to meet new people the next day after arrival just to make sure all goes well. The condo is best for 4 people and after 11 years of renting we almost always have 4 people and the den is just an extra area used as an office mostly. Thanks again.

Hi Scott - We just wanted to thank you for everything this past week. Your rental home is beautiful and we had such a nice time on our vacation. It's so nice to be in a home with more of the comforts of a home rather than a hotel. And everything that your home had to offer was just perfect for us. Your recent improvements made your condo look like brand new. Thanks for adding new appliances in the kitchen and new furniture. Each year we use the condo it has been very confortable, but now its much better. We do suggest our place to anyone who wants a condo on the beach with great views. Randy
