Come and enjoy our Mountain Paradise Retreat in the resort community of Linville/Land Harbor in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Relaxing in the living room and dining area, with its large expanse of glass surrounding you on two walls, brings the light and outdoors into the living area. The master bedroom suite has a new king-size bed and luxurious bedding to provide a great night's sleep with only the birds to wake you in the morning. The second bedroom has its own sliding glass door and two twin beds that can be configured as a king or twins. The living room also has two sofas that convert into twin beds.
The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your gourmet meals, just bring the ingredients. The separate bar area and large deck with barbecue off the living area are great for relaxing or entertaining. The basement consists of the laundry area with new washer and dryer, one car garage and area for a golf cart.
Amenities include the Olympic sized outdoor heated pool overlooking the lake, dancing, crafts and music, shuffleboard, exercise classes, etc. at the clubhouse.
Our gorgeous 18-hole, par 69 mountain Golf course and tennis court privileges are available. You can go fishing in our 48 acre trout-stocked lake or fly fish in the pristine river.
A walk around the lake or along the river with its tiny waterfalls, hiking around Grandfather mountain and Linville Gorge, visiting Linville Falls and Caverns and driving along the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway will all add to your very memorable experience. Being close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Newland and Banner Elk gives many choices of shopping & restaurants.
Whatever season you choose has its special beauty. Springtime brings its new promise of blossoms and green. Summertime at 4,000 feet elevation gives wonderful mountain breezes and the exquisite profusion of white and pink rhododendron. Autumn brings the explosion of fall colors to Avery County mountains and winter brings the pristine quiet snow and skiing/snowboarding at Sugar or Beech Mountain close by.

Why the Owner Chose Linville
We feel that the is house centrally located to many areas to explore. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 10 minutes away. Ashville, with the Biltmore House, is only 1hr and 30 minutes. Many waterfalls are 1 hour and 30 minutes Southeast including Highlands which is must overnite. We have been there in all seasons and they are all spectacular!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Since this is a resort community you have an olympic size pool, several tennis courts, an 18 hole golf course thats lots of fun and trout fishing in the stream and lake shown in the pitures. There is a walking path that is great to start your day and winds throughout the porperty. Just spend time and you will want to come back, as we do, time and again.

We have stayed in your home 3 months each Summer in 2008 and 2009. We have enjoyed our stay and how nice your house has been. The golf and tennis have been delightful and the people great. It was so easy to get around to different sights. We wish we could come back this year but due to Harold's physical problems will not be able to make it. We hope your next guests will enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks again. Maybe 2011!! Barb
