Two couples spent a week in this sparkling clean architectural gem and are so happy with our experience. The web description is very accurate as far as it goes, but the place is even better. It has five "floors" but they are split-level style, thus the top pool level is 2 stories above the ground. I would not, though, recommend this condo for families with small children due to the stairways, which do not have hand rails. It is perfect for 1, 2 or 3 couples as each beautiful bedroom has a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The amenities are over the top, including lots of little things like a second wi-fi network on the upper level to keep a strong signal, a loaner cell phone, another wired phone for free calls to the US and Canada, washer/dryer, hair dryers, iron and board, security system, safes in each bedroom, etc. When we arrived, we weren't impressed with the appearance of the neighborhood, but our love for the area grew as each day passed. At no time did we worry about walking the streets late at night. Dozens of fun dining spots are within a 10 minute walk and the metro is about a 15 minute walk. The manager, Martin, had been described as, and truly was, superb.

Just spent 5 days at Casa Viejo with a group of girlfriends and we couldn't be happier with the place. Totally luxurious, excellent location to walk to the restaurants and shopping of Palermo, close to a main street for grabbing taxis to anywhere else in the city. Martin was accessible at all times and helped with everything we needed, including restaurant recommendations, teaching us how to use the amenities, ordering cabs to the airport, etc. Comfortable beds, lovely showers, excellent heating system (its the tail end of winter now) and just overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Wonderful home for our stay in BA! The villa is close to almost everything and walkable distance to most of what we wanted to see. Beautiful home! As nice as any 5 star hotel and with Martin as our "resource" and personal "concierge service" a truly intimate and enjoyable stay. Hot tub (pool) on roof was a hit as was great kitchen area and outside waterfall and patio area. Martin was great! He arranged our transfers to and from EZE airport and to domestic airport; great restaurant suggestions, and his attention to all the details of our visit was priceless! Wish we could have brought him for all our Argentina travels! Great correspondence prior to our stay and knew we would be well taken care of and "pampered" for our visit. Great bakery a block away as well! Would definitely stay here again if visiting BA! Would highly recommend to friends and family! Many Thanks to Mark and Martin!

Set in a great neighbourhood, the location gave us a better feel for the city than staying in a hotel. Spent several days exploring the shops, restaurants, bars and sights just in and around the neighbourhood. Concierge service provided was impeccable – from recommending and delivering local wines to sample, having food delivered (ice cream is a must), arranging for tours, recommending and making restaurant reservations, to arranging events, tours and transportation. Accommodations were princely – house is modern, spacious, comfortable and includes all amenities (plasma, sound system, internet access, satellite TV …). Third floor terrace was especially nice – whether to catch some sun or relax with a Cabernet or Malbec in the evening. Real treat was the indoor parrilla – for a unique experience try and arrange for a real Argentinian bbq at the house.

This house made for a dream vacation. The location was perfect, making for easy beautiful and scenic walks to fun local neighborhoods, offering great cafes, restaurants and shopping. The house was also very easily accessible to transportation such as subway, bus or taxi making it very easy to get around the city. The house itself was breathtaking,An open spacious concept, that offered serenity and warmth, with all the comforts of home through state of the art amenities. A modern, crisp, clean and spacious home offering luscious rooms with oversized sofas, dreamy bedrooms, romantic candlelights, modern technology such as wall mounted flat screen televisions, dvd players, and entertainment centre, made it a taste of heaven.Whether a novice or a culinary, the two kitchens will have even the most modest chef wanting to dabble with the indoor barbeque and the modern appliances.A lovely pool on a rooftop deck, makes for a most relaxing end to a perfect day.If entertaining, the house is very inviting and has a wonderful layout to offer comfort from an intimate small gathering to a large function type gathering. The property manager is most helpful and makes your trip easy and seamless so all you have to worry about is having a good time. Overall, this home will make you feel like you have a slice of heaven,

I stayed at the Casa Viejo for 2 weeks in late February. The house is the ultimate in luxury ... just spectacular. It is centrally located & very spacious. The premises were immaculate & very modern. The open floor plan & the several large outdoor living areas were excellent for both relaxing & entertaining. The property featured all the amenities. The value, quality & comforts of this house far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning in the near future. The property manager, Martin, was warm & welcomong, & incredibly helpful & available in assissting us with our travel needs ie. transportation, reservations.

I was in beautiful Buenos Aires for 2 weeks in late February 2011 with 3 of my friends and we all stayed at beautiful Casa Viejo. All of us are just so happy that we decided to stay here rather than some hotel room because not even the Four Seasons could have topped this place. First off, the listing description for this place is very accurate. In fact, this place could easily sleep more than 6 people. The place is huge and very clean and very well maintained. Everything in the house was in perfect working order and if not, the house manager Martin was quick to fix it as was the case when one night I actually blew a fuse which knocked out the lights on the third floor. It was 11pm and I called Martin just to ask him where the fuse box was located so I could replace the fuse myself but he insisted that he would come over immediately and handle the problem himself, which he did and 20 minutes later the problem was solved. That was the only incident we had during our 2 weeks and I was very impressed by Martin's customer service. He set up dinner reservations for us at several outstanding restaurants and he was always quick to respond to any questions that we had regarding things to do and see around the city. Another great aspect regarding Casa Viejo is that it is located right in the trendy part of Buenos Aires with all of the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife. If you are from New York, this place is like being right in Soho, Greenwich Village and the Meat Packing District, or if you are from Toronto like me, then this place is like being in King West, Yorkville, and Queen West. You just can't beat the location of this place because even though you are right where all the action is, you can still get peace and quiet. In addition, the location of the house is not touristy at all so you get a very authentical feel of the city, the people and the culture which to me is what travelling is all about. Most importantly, the house is located in an area that is safe and secure. During our 2 weeks, we always felt safe and never saw one probelm. The people in the area were friendly and helpful, and many nights we walked the streets until 2am and never had a problem. In fact, at night, Buenos Aires comes alive with people everywhere looking to have fun. I would highly recommend Casa Viejo to everyone. It will make your stay in Buenos Aires a 5 star experience that you will remember fondly forever. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Fabulous home in Palermo. Clean and beautiful, decorated wonderful. The house is just as described on the listing and even more than you could imagine. Everything was superb from the start to finish because of MARTIN. He took care of everything in recommending this property to friends who were staying at one of his other outstanding properties that he manages. He answered all questions prior to arriving and all while we were down in BA. I've been to BA times before and wished I had known Martin prior. Would definitely recommend this house.

We loved this house....totally 5 star in every way. Location is perfect....steps from the shopping on Cordoba, and a few blocks from the center of the Palermo. We had stayed at the Faena and the Four Seasons before, and this was our best time yet. Martin, our manager/concierge, was there in a moment if we needed anything (even on holidays and sundays), and anything needing attention was fixed immediately within hours. The home itself is lovely, modern, and gorgeous. We will stay in this house again, and if not available, we will use Martin for sure on another property. FYI about the home....5 levels, lots of stairs....but so ok. We had a 10 month old baby, and we were absolutely fine.

Our family of 4 loved this house. We stayed there in February 2010. It is very well maintained and extremely comfortable. The beds were great, bathrooms modern and rooftop area fantastic. Everyday we would return from a day of running around in this amazing city to sit in the clean plunge pool and rest in the rooftop lounge chairs. On the few occasions we ate in the house, we found the kitchen well equipped. The house is as picture on the website. The house is 3 blocks from a trendy part of BA, Palermo Soho, and has grocery stores nearby. The neighbourhood gave us an authentic feel for the city and was not touristy. While the house was great, we found what really gave us an exceptional stay was the concierge and the service staff. They really cared and went out of their way for us. When the conceirge saw I had developed a small cold at the end of the trip, heeven bought and brought for me cold medication without my asking. You cannot go wrong with this property.

My wife and I stayed in this home in November 2009 and were completely blown away when we arrived. The house is very modern and well laid out. It is really perfect with three bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. The rooftop pool, patio, 2nd kitchen and bar area are great for relaxing and enjoying the weather. Everything was seamless from the pickup at the airport to the arrival at the home and walkthrough with the concierge. The concierge made many arrangements for us(restaurants, tours) all with a quick phone call and discussion. The location was great within Palermo and we walked to many local restuarants and shops. We loved Buenos Aires and when we go back we will definitely stay here again. We have recommended it to several friends who are planning trips to South America.

A modern, stunning house with first rate service. Concierge was able to lineup all the key events for us and made sure we lived the Argentina experience. House was perfect location; easy walk to the best restaurants and shops while still being private enough to get away from the crowds. We loved the serenity of the private courtyard for our morning breakfasts and the rooftop kitchen, bar , pool and fireplace to enjoy the sun in our own little oasis.
