Our home, with separate guest house, is located in Malibu Park which lies above Zuma Beach. The house is elegant yet casual. The yard, surrounded by lush landscaping, offers a pool with Jacuzzi, a gas fire pit and various lounging/dining areas. The beach is a leisurely ten minute walk away or a brief 2 minute drive with plenty of free parking available on Pacific Coast Highway and/or additional fee parking in the county beach lot. Zuma Beach is public while neighboring Broad Beach is private with public access. Zuma Beach is summer home to a number of beach surf camps which teach water safety skills, surfing, etc. There is also a small shopping center with a full service grocery store, a postal service store, a small hardware store and a Starbucks! The other side of our property faces the Santa Monica Mountains. The hiking and biking opportunities are wonderful and varied. A ten minute drive south on Pacific Coast Highway brings you to the heart of Malibu. There you will find boutique shopping centers, grocery stores, a theater and multiple dining spots offering both casual and gourmet fare.
