Welcome to our Mariners Watch villa located on Kiawah's East Beach. Just 200 yds away is the most spectacular 10 miles of beach. Walk down the villa steps to the beach access/bike trail and in less than a minute you are on the beach. Our villa is 650sq ft and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults comfortably. Our villa has a max capacity of 4 no exceptions.
In 2008 the villa underwent a beautiful kitchen and bath renovation. The kitchen has beautiful maple and coffee glazed cabinets, travertine backsplash and baltic brown granite countertops. The kitchen is quite complete with place settings enough for four.
The bathroom can be accessed from the bedroom and hallway and has beautiful crema marfil marble tiled floor and tub surround. The maple vanity has a baltic brown granite countertop.
In the living room there is a Sherill sleeper sofa, a swival club chair and beautiful leather ottoman just waiting for you to kick off your shoes while enjoying the flat screen TV. The area also has a glass top table with seating for four. The bedroom is just off the main hallway as you enter the villa and is painted in a soothing celery green. All linens are provided.
On the screen porch overlooking the lagoon there are two patio table and chairs for your enjoyment. Egrets and alligators are just a few of the native inhabitants you may see from this spot. Watch out for Allie the alligator on the far bank of the lagoon.
The Night Heron Park, East Beach Tennis Club, Town Center, Sanctuary Hotel, are all within walking/biking distance. This part of the Island is very beautiful. It is also centrally located to all the golf courses. Travel/island information is provided for you inside the villa.
Smoking is not permitted in the villa or on the screened porch. No grills permitted in the villa complex due to wood construction.

- If you want a quiet vacation, this location is it. The beach is 200 yards away and is certainly the main attraction, 10 miles of the most beautiful beach on the east coast. Kiawah also has 30 miles of bike trails to enjoy and biking is one of the most popular activities. Four world championship golf courses are available on the island. There are also many tennis courts. The Sanctuary Resort contains many shopping, dining and spa opportunities. There are many boating activities offered at Bohicket Marina located just off Kiawah Island. Freshfields village has lots of great stores to explore and a large grocery store with full deli.

Why the Owner Chose Mariner's Watch
It is the perfect location, the beach is only 200 yards away from our villa. The bike and beach path runs right by the villa. We've rented bikes at the Night Heron park and gone exploring on the island. We've biked out to the Ocean course and back. Be sure and bring sun screen, water and a camera if you are riding that far. You will have many opportunities to take some great photos.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
We love the lagoon view from our screened porch, it is a perfect way to watch the wildlife while having coffee in the morning. The Bosch convection stove is big enough to cook a Thanksgiving turkey. We have found a great houskeeping service who do a wonderful job of cleaning the villa. If you don't want to cook, Freshfields village is a short drive away and has a great deli at the grocery store. Our favorite restaurant is the Atlantic room at the Ocean Course, the views of the Atlantic ocean are amazing from the porch, and the big comfy chairs, they also have a great burger.

We purchased the villa in 2007 as a quick getaway from our home in Charleston. We try and go there as often as possible. It's just 45 minutes drive from downtown Charleston. When we can't be there, we rent our villa to guests. We want you to feel at home in our home.
