This quiet, spacious, and stylish one bedroom apartment consists of 50m2 located on the 4th floor with elevator/lift of a classic, French building on Rue De Ponthieu, Paris 75008.
The apartment is fully furnished with top-quality queen size bed (160 x 200 cm), a roll a bed and and sofa bed in the living room.
The living room and bedroom are spacious and artfully decorated while retaining the original charm and character. The living room has beautiful refinished hardwood floors and hosts a Stereo CD System, LCD TV, DVD, and Cable. Telephone calls to USA and Canada are free of charge. DSL WIFI High Speed wireless is setup for internet use.
The dining table accommodates 4 persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, 4 element stove, toaster, coffee/tea maker, plus cookware.
Everything you need is provided to make your visit to Paris as fun and comfortable as possible. The bathroom is equipped with all new amenities with modern elegant features. It features a bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, towel warmer, washer, hairdryer plus luxurious towels. There is a large closet near the door entry for storage of luggage and large items. The apartment is equipped with fresh linens, blankets, duvets and pillows.
The apartment is located in a clean, residential area of Paris (8eme) Rue De Ponthieu. The apartment is situated within 2 minutes by foot from the enchanting Avenue Des Champs Elysées, 5 minutes by foot from the most Parisian of monuments, Arc De Triumph, and 20 minutes by foot from the breathtaking Place de Concorde, Tuilleries Gardens and world renowned Louvre Museum, plus a large variety of other wonderful Parisian monuments and sites are all a short walk or a quick metro ride.
Avenue Des Champs Elysées has a variety of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants located within walking distance, as well as movie theaters, night clubs and other evening entertainment. A bakery is situated next to the apartment building and Monoprix grocery store is 5 minute by foot and offers a variety of foods, wine, cheese and everythig else you need for a long term stay.
This apartment is very centrally located providing easy access to just about every other area of Paris.
The apartment is located by [George V] Metro Stop which will take you to all of the locations Paris has to offer. Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 8
I visit Paris often and I enjoy its culture, foods and history so I decided to buy an apartment there and renovate it to the original Parisian style and character. Arrondissment 8 is perfect because its location is historical and central to all the cafe's, restaurants and entertainment in Paris. I find owning or renting vacation rental much more economical and enjoyable method of vacationing. I also enjoy renting a car and traveling to outside Paris especially the eight course meals at the Chateaus which are about 2 to 3 hours from Paris or closer.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
The benefit of this apartment is the location and the fact that you can walk to a cafe or a major 4 star restaurant. Given that the Metro stop is so close by it makes navigation through Paris a breeze. George V is the Metro Stop and I always send a Metro map to my vacationers to acclimate them to Paris and their location. Monoprix grocery store is a five minute walk from the apartment and when I arrive to Paris I usually buy all the basic essentials for my stay since it gets a bit hectic eating out all the time. I prefer to cook at home and meet friends at a new local restaurant. I have prepared a list of places I have eaten and their address and phone numbers which I send to my vacationers if they are looking for a place to eat. I have also made a list of places to visit while in Paris whether it’s your first time or you have been there before. Whether it’s your first time to this romantic city or you area returner, this apartment is designed to allow you to relax and immerse yourself in the Paris style while you save money.

Great location, near all the sites and shopping. Enjoyed easy access to groceries, cafes, restaurants and metro. Spacious living area but small kitchen. Quiet and comfortable. Not ideal for young kids but was certainly workable.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Despite more than one e-mail to contact advising of our mode and time of arrival, no one met us with a key. Luckily, the owner of the Kodak store in the mall was able to reach someone to let us in. Very concerned that we would have to find a hotel for the first night. Not a good start, ownership representative did not bother to respond to my e-mail complaint. We did not feel welcome in this apartment, maybe because of absentee ownership. Location great, near George V metro station and 2 minute walk to the Champs Elysee. Apartment has some deferred maintenance issues with floor and kitchen is very small. There are so many apartments for vacation rental in the same area, I would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Very nice place, exellent location,clean and quiet with everything that you need. We enjoyed it very much. It is walking distance to Paul's bakery, grocery stores and of course the wonderful shops on Champs Elysee. The tour bus stops in front of the building entrance and makes site seeing easy and enjoyable. can't wait till the next time.

A delightful apartment in a fantastic loation just off the Champs D'Elysee and very close to a Metro station should you want explore more than the designer boutiques! Very comfortable, kitted out with everything you need and enough french charm to make the coffee and croissants taste much better than they do at home.

The apartment was everything we wanted it to be; close to all the sights, charming, quiet, with all the amenities and free long distance to home! plus, theres a bakery a one minute walk from the building's entrance. We had fresh bread and croissants every morning. We are looking forward to our next visit!
