  The updates to this unit are beautiful! The owners were friendly, and quick to respond to any questions we had before arrival. Having the beach service included with the condo fees made the transition from condo to beach pleasant and seamless. We have stayed in another unit in this building before but will definitely be requesting this one next time!

  Condo was clean, well maintained and updated. Enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from balcony. Security deposit quickly returned. The unit is close but not too close to elevator! The owner was helpful and quick to respond to my questions, etc. Thank you, we really enjoyed the condo and the lovely beach, hope to be back soon.

  I was very pleased with the unit. Enjoyed the location and the unit was very accommodating and provided plenty of space for a family of 4 adults and 1 child. We also enjoyed having complimentary beach chairs. Would not hesitate renting again.

  We have stayed at many places over the past 10 years visiting Destin, but this was our first stay at Sterling Sands. Overall, we were pleased with the property. We absolutely loved the view from our room directly out to the beach/ocean. It was wonderful being so close to the water. The pool area is nice with landscaping all around. The beachfront workout room is a great idea, but they could use some other things in there, rather than just treadmills. I understand they are about to begin refurbishing some of the building exterior which should make Sterling Sands look even better. The specific unit that we stayed in was a smaller 2 bedroom unit, but it was plenty big enough for our family of 5 which includes 3 young teenagers. I did miss having a master bedroom on the beachfront where you get a balcony view of the water (this master is located right at the front door), but that's okay. The bed in the master is very comfortable with a pillowtop mattress. The bunk beds in the small bedroom were full size on top and bottom, which gave our kids a little more room to stretch out. We also made use of the pull-out couch, which was perfectly fine. There were nice flatscreens in each room. We had everything we needed for our stay and appreciated a few of the 'extras' we found in the closet and cabinets. The chairs and umbrella were waiting for us each morning with our name on them...no need to stand in line or fight other people for that desired spot on the beach. While there were a few minor maintenance items that could be addressed in and around the property, I'd still say that this is a really nice place to stay and I'd recommend it. THANKS to the owners for an easy booking process and an enjoyable visit!

  This condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated and are very nice. The second bedroom is very small, with no closet, but does have a chest to store clothing. Each bedroom and the living room have TVs. The view of the beach and gulf is breathtaking. It is conveniently located to wonderful restaurants, resort activities and local attractions. The owner was very accommodating and straightforward about the property and a delight to work with. I would recommend this to a family with younger children or teens.

  We stayed at this Sterling Sands 2BR/2BA condo the week of 7/7-14. We had a great week. The condo had everything we needed with plenty of room and made for a very enjoyable vacation. The owner was very responsive to my questions prior to rental and just before arrival. The process was so easy! The pool was never too crowded and the free beach service was a nice bonus. The water was absolutely beautiful all week. My family really appreciated the keypad access - wonderful not having to keep up with keys! We have stayed in several condos in this area and this is definitely one that I would consider revisiting. We even saw dolpins from the balcony on one early morning. Destin is one of our favorite vacation spots and we definitely plan on returning!

  My husband,and 21yr old daughter and I stayed in this awsome condo...no problems what so ever..amazing beaches..pool, and area. I just wish they would turn the exercise room back into a club..but we found the back porch down the beach. I must say weve stayed in several areas in fl..and this beach and water was to die for. We were close to enough that we mostly walked. The pier...was our favorite spot. Dont hesitate on renting and staying here...Jennie...shes like my best friend now...i truely thank her for all her help and look forward to renting from her again soon....If she would agree..id rent this from her permanently...lol..id have to talk my hubby into it.though...Happy Vacationing~~~~~

  This is our second year staying at this unit and me and my family have such a wonderful time my children are 9 and 11 and have such a good time at the pool and at the beach!!! Everything is close by we can even walk to the Back Porch from Sterlings Sands for lunch everything you need is right at your fingertips. The water this trip was so pretty could not of asked for it to be and clearier. The unit has everything you need and we really liked having the beach service included in the trip. We will be back next year!!

  Our family of 4 rented the condo last year and we had a great time there! The condo is right on the beach and it's situated close to shopping and restaurants. The condo itself is great and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well appointed. The owners were very helpful when we called them because we had forgotten to take the code to the door with us.... oops! We definitely will go back.

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  Condo was nice, but needed some basic work done. 2nd bedroom is tiny but I guess your not really there to stay in the bedroom. After our stay owner has ignored our phone calls/ email mails & has not returned our deposit. So if you like donating your deposit, this is the place for you, but if not then I would find somewhere else to rent!

  Recommended for: Age 55+.
