This charming bungalow is located in the private community of Seacrest Beach which is situated between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. One of the primary features of Seacrest Beach is the award winning 12,000 square foot swimming pool with multiple-levels, waterfalls, fountains and two bath houses. It is truly beautiful! A short 1.5 block walk down the brick paved street will lead you to the pool.
Want to spend time at the beach? Our house is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. If you don't want to walk, give the Seacrest Beach private beach tram a call. They will pick you up at your front door and take you right to the beach ~ at no charge! As guests of The Barefoot Bungalow you have available to you 2 beach chairs and an umbrella set-up daily at no expense to you!
The living/dining area features wide-planked hardwood floors and a 40" Samsung HDTV. The kitchen has granite countertops and is equipped with everything you will need. The dining table will seat 6 with additional seating for 2 at the kitchen counter. A separate laundry/mud room includes a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. One King, one Queen and two Full beds. Each bedroom has its own TV. Wireless internet is provided for your use as well as a cordless telephone with built in speakerphone. Free domestic long-distance is also provided.
There is so much to do in the area. You can walk or bike to the Villages of South Walton, Rosemary Beach or Alys Beach where you will find shops, restaurants, spa, etc. Didn't bring your bike? Bike rentals are available nearby with 19 miles of bike and jogging trails along scenic Highway 30-A for you to explore and enjoy.
Pier Park is only approximately 9 miles with lots of shopping, restaurants, movie theater and rides for the kiddies.
Golfing is available within a few miles of our home (Camp Creek Golf Course). Rosemary Beach offers clay court weekly tennis memberships and lessons. If fishing is your thing, there are several coastal lakes nearby as well as shore and deep sea fishing.

Wonderful Seacrest Rental

We rented this house for a party of 5 (it could have accomodated 6 easily): ourselves, our daughter and son-in law and granddaughter, and three grand dogs. The Barefoot Bungalow was clean, well maintained, well equipped, and spacious enough with three BR and two baths, an open LR, dining area and kitchen, and a front porch for getting away from the others. The owners were only a phone call away. The Seacrest swimming pool was an easy 5 minute walk. The Seacrest beach was another 3-4 minutes away, though we took the shuttle golf cart most of the time. The Rosemary Beach commercial area was only a 5 minute walk. Bottom line: The Barefoot Bungalow is well maintained, economical and convenient to swimming, the beach and shopping. What else do you need? For these reasons we recommend it highly.

We have been staying in Sea Crest Beach FL for almost 8 years now and THIS is the house we finally found that we LOVE so much - we won't stay anywhere else!! Immaculate, VERY WELL FURNISHED kitchen (we cook ALOT!!), comfortable furnishings, short walk to the beach (or tram ride), LOVE the front porch!!! We site out on the front porch every night and enjoy the breeze! The owners are GREAT to work with and I feel like we are family as we have connected on their FB page! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom accommodations very nice and perfect for our family. You will not go wrong if you choose this perfectly wonderful home for your vacation!!

This was our first time using VRBO, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The Barefoot Bungalow was everything it is advertised to be, and more. It was very comfortable and spacious for our family of five, a very easy walk to the pool, and an equally easy walk to the FANTASTIC beach! The neighborhood of Seacrest Beach is a great place for our older kids (8 and 10) to ride bikes and explore. Visits to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach (by bike) were highlights, and the quick drive to Seaside was great. Gary and Beverly were just great to deal with, they offered several helpful suggestions and gave us a call the night we got there to make sure everyting was as expected. As we were leaving, all three kids kept asking when we were coming back! Soon, we hope. A great trip!

This is our 3rd February in this area. By far the Barefoot Bungalow has been the best equipped and comfortable we have ever rented. Love the house, location, shopping, restaurants, neighbors and the warm weather.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous vacation home. This vacation was a special vacation for it was our first "true" vacation with our adopted newborn son! Thank you for helping us make this trip so special! We found your home to be very clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything we could ask for. The 12,000 square foot swimming pool was AMAZING and the beach was just a hop, skip and jump away from the front porch We will definitely recommend the Barefoot Bungalow to friends and family who want to get their feet in the sand; and would love to come back ourselves sometime! This was our first time at Seacrest Beach and I hope it was not our last! We rented two houses for our families, one of them was Barefoot Bungalow. What a fabulous home! It is so cozy and adorable with a lot of amenities. Not to mention, I LOVED how it was decorated (: Thank you for sharing this with us. Beverly and Gary were great to work with...very organized and helpful. We couldn't be happier!

Gary & Beverly- I didn’t get a chance to email last week, but I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at the Barefoot Bungalow. The house was lovely and worked out great for us. We had friends staying in the house next door and the house across the street. The beach was beautiful, I was so afraid the oil was going to beat us there. My two sisters, my 2 1/2 yr old son and my handicapped dog had a wonderful time at the bungalow. it was the perfect spot to relax, regroup and just hang out. The front porch was ideal for hanging out in the morn w/ coffee; the pool was amazing!; and the quaint streets were perfect for a bike ride. We loved the house and amenities - although would have loved a gas grill. All in all, i would highly recommend this home and community. Beverly and Gary were more than accommodating and made the entire rental process easy. I'll definitely be back!!

Some girlfriends and I rented Beverly and Gary's charming Barefoot Bungalow for an extended Girls' Weekend. When we arrived, the house was even better than we expected! The location was great, the house had everything we needed and the property was fantastic. We spent more time at the huge (12,000 sf!!!) pool in Seacrest Beach than we did at the beach, but we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. We would love to stay at the Barefoot Bungalow again and are considering making this an annual tradition - just don't tell our husbands! :)
