Located on the pristine San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride's historic Depot District, the River Club is just steps away from the gondola and the town's finest shops, restaurants, special events, and festivals. The River Club consists of 26 elegantly appointed residences with distressed wood flooring, spacious ceilings, steam showers, soaking tubs, fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens with washer/dryer. While at the River Club, you can enjoy the magnificent mountain views, full concierge service, valet with heated underground parking, in-town transportation, and a fitness center.
Each 2-bedroom condominium has an open living room, gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and top of the line appliances, and formal dining area. There is a gas fireplace in the living room, as well as TV with DVD player. In the master bedroom, there is a king bed and private bath with steam shower and jetted tub. The second bedroom also has its own bathroom with tub and steam shower. The bedding arrangement is either a queen bed or two twin beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each unit has a washer/dryer.

Why the Owner Chose Telluride
Telluride offers the most majestic scenery of any mountain destination. The summers are fantastic with all kinds of activities and major festivals too. During the winter the skiing is fantastic and the slopes are uncrowded -- something that is particularly important to me when my three children (ages 4, 6, 9) are on the slopes.

The River Club is unique in that you enjoy spectacular professionally decorated and maintained condos. But also have service that is more typical of a hotel. From the front desk to the bell staff you will experience impeccable service, moreover highly personalized service. As you can see from my prior guests comments everyone has been highly impressed with the River Club, from the accommodation to the service. You will have a fantastic stay.

While I was born and raised in the New York City area I was fortunate that my family had a home in the Catskill Mountains of NY. I grew up skiing Platekill Mountain in NY and spent every day I could on the ski slopes. I always enjoyed introducing others to both skiing and the mountains and did everything from ski instructing and organizing bus ski trips in high school, to organizing complete air/lift/lodging packages for my fellow students while in graduate school. Through it all I have taken pride in offering the very best, at an unheard of price. I am happy to be able to continue doing such by offering the River Club to you.

Glad to hear that you were impressed by the staff, amenities, mountains, river, etc. As for the pillow firmness / lighting brightness please note that as a service oriented private residence club the staff is there to assist and to tailor things to individual needs – upon request they will immediately deliver softer pillows, change the lightbulb brightness, etc. – all can and will be adjusted to meet needs that may vary from guest to guest.
