This charming, LUXURY log cabin resides on 10 acres of property with a bonfire pit, large pond, lighted fountain, horseshoe pit, hammock, running creek and hiking trails. It's a perfect getaway for those that love nature, while still only 10 minutes to quaint downtown Black Mountain and Ingles grocery store. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, game room with air hockey & fooseball table, fireplace, 2 flat screen televisions with DVD player, fully equipped kitchen and a wrap-around deck with a Jacuzzi and grill. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby for all ages and grassy area for kids to play. Perfect location for two families traveling together with a sister cabin on the same property #195858. Other nearby log cabins can be referred for family reunions and events.

Known as the Front Porch of Western North Carolina, Black Mountain is cradled by mountains and surrounded with gorgeous views and located just 15 minutes from Asheville. Our town overflows with arts and crafts galleries, artist studios, specialty and antique shops, bookstores and furniture stores, where you can bring a piece of the mountains back home with you. Enjoy lunch in one of the charming restaurants or cafes. Spend the afternoon at Lake Tomahawk with its walking path, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf and croquet.

  • We really enjoyed our week in the cool mountains of North Carolina in this spacious, well thought out log cabin. It was great for the 9 of us--four adults and five children-- and the children took over the lower floor and we relaxed on the upper most of the time! Great place to visit with cousins. We loved the trails and wading stream, catching salamanders and tadpoles, making S'mores, and the easy drive to area attractions. A wonderful get away! Claire

  • A wonderful spacious cabin with all the modern comforts yet very secluded. The property is perfect for kids with the pond and stream. The location near Black Mtn. and Asheville is a plus as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

  • We had never been to the Black Mountain area. We found it very accessible and yet secluded. There is so much to do and see in the area. The cabin was comfortable and charming. The kids loved the pond and bonfires! We'll see you next year!

  • Wow! The family looks forward to coming back again next year! The children enjoyed catching tadpoles in the pond, salamanders in the creek and caterpillers on the trails. We even saw a deer and fawn near the pond one afternoon. It's great to get away from the city and enjoy the nature, while having the luxury & conveniences of home. My husband and I really enjoyed the restaurants and quaintness of downtown black mountain too. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

  • Sherri, We had a wonderful week at your cabin (Lawrence's Loft). The cabin was well appointed and very nice and the property was awesome! Our kids loved catching and releasing the tadpoles and fishing in the pond. The jacuzzi was heavenly, and we enjoyed grilling and making smores over the bonfire most nights. It was a really nice experience and we hope to return. Thanks so much for everything! Deby

  • Beautiful setting in the North Carolina mountains with amenities galore! Its convenience to the Asheville area and outdoor activities is an added plus. Whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings or visit the Biltmore Estate you won't find a cabin more inviting. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

  • My family and I stayed in the cabin over the July 4th weekend. We have stayed in a few different cabins throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains and this by far was the best. The cabin is brand new and so is everything inside. It was like living in a model home; beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My favorite part was having coffee in the morning on the porch looking out over the pond and fountain. Very relaxing! The cabin had a binder full of great suggestions and attractions in the area. We could stay at the cabin and relax and unwind or just travel about 10 minutes to grocery stores, cute shops and nice restaurants. We had a great time and would highly recommend it!

  • Our family and friends visited this cozy getaway and left with unforgetable memories. This spacious home has all the amenities that one could ask for not to mention the view is fantastic. There is a pond view from the home with a walk trail right outside the door that is absoutely amazing. It is conveniently located to the local food stores and other shops. I would definately plan on visiting this lovely cabin again! Thanks for the wonderful memories.

  • My family and I stayed over the winter break and had one of the best vacations ever. The house in itself is beautifully decorated with all amenities. The property has beautiful mountain views, a pond which you can see directly from this house and even has it's own hiking trail. We found the property very conveniently located to food stores, restaurants and things to do for our family. We can't wait to go there again.
